I used to love watching K-dramas — I practically grew up with them. Because of that, I fell in love with everything about Korea: the culture, food, skincare, and even travel vlogs about the country.
But despite how much I love Korea, I’ve always told my sisters, my best friend, and even my husband that my very first international trip would be to China. I would even joke before that if I ever got married, I wanted my prenup photoshoot to be there.
Watching this vlog gave me a different kind of feeling — like I really have to make this dream happen someday. China has always had a special place in my heart. Back in 2011, I almost got hired to work there, but at that time, China didn’t have the best reviews yet, so my parents opposed the idea.
Still, I’m hopeful that one day, I’ll finally get to go there. Fingers crossed.
