15 PRINCIPLES TO REMEMBER WHEN SKIN HAPPENS ❤
1. Squeeze acne properly!! Acne contains a lot of harmful bacteria. If you squeeze pimples incorrectly, those bacteria will have the opportunity to spread to neighboring pores and stay there to "nest". Don't give the bacteria that chance.
2. Don't touch your face with your hands. Your hands (no matter how many times you wash them) are always oily and dirty, which is a medium for bacteria transmission. If you constantly rub your hands on your face, you will also spread the bacteria to the surrounding skin.
3. Drink enough water, from 9 to 12 cups of water a day (equivalent to 1.5-2 liters of water), depending on your gender.
4. Limit eating sweets, coffee... Sugar causes a spike in insulin levels in the body, leading to hyperplasia of some hormones that cause pimples.
5. Drink less milk. Milk is also considered a trigger for pimples. Milk promotes the production of male hormones – testosterone and androgens. Together with insulin, they promote acne formation.
6. People who eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and consume less lactose will have less acne. Eat 400 to 900 grams of vegetables and fruits a day, especially green vegetables.
7. Eating foods containing omega-3 will help the body avoid inflammation and make cells healthier. Foods rich in omega-3 include: Fish, especially salmon, sardines and herring; Nuts, especially flaxseeds; Green vegetables, especially spinach and watercress.
8. Use the right vitamins with the right dose. When you use the right vitamins, your skin will be healthy, fresh, and acne-free. Vitamins A and E are especially effective in improving the skin.
9. Use Evening Primrose Oil. Evening primrose oil contains omega-6 fatty acids with anti-inflammatory effects. If your body lacks this substance, pimples may appear. Take 1000 to 1500 mg, twice daily.
10. Don't wash your face more than twice a day. When you wash your face too much, your skin will dry out and produce more oil, which means more acne.
11. Moisturize the skin after washing the face. When you wash your face, your skin loses the moisture it needs to fight acne-causing bacteria. Learn and use a moisturizer that won't clog pores. If you have oily skin, use a gel moisturizer instead of a cream.
12. Don't stress yourself out for long. When you're stressed. The cells that produce sebum (the cause of acne) will become out of control.
13. Get enough sleep and change your pillowcase regularly. You can wrap the pillow in a towel to absorb the oil. The next night, you can turn the towel over.
14. Movement. Exercise will promote blood circulation, so your skin will also be healthier and fresher.
15. Always wear sunscreen when outdoors
