In line with DO 018, s. 2025 โ€“ Implementing Guidelines of the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning Program (ARAL PROGRAM), the English department conducted its ARAL reading orientation at the Alzona Hall of Manila High School, at 11:30 a.m. for the morning shift students and 12:40 p.m. for the afternoon shift students. The English and Journalism Club assisted during the said event.

Manila High School officially recognized its student clubs and organizations through a vibrant Mass Induction Ceremony, where each club marched with pride, bearing their banners before their officers took the official oath. MHS launched Brigada Eskwela 2025 on June 9, Monday. The program featured talks on anti-bullying by Mrs. Eleonor Calapati and school regulations by Mrs. Jo-Ann Rogon. In her speech, Mrs. Melanie T. Pascua, school head, underscored the importance of unity and community support in preparing for the new school year.

After the program, Grade 10 students and parents worked together in cleaning classrooms, while a reading corner and storytelling session by Mrs. Marilou Biboso promoted the culture of reading.

The event showcased the spirit of bayanihan and the vital role of teamwork in education.

Around 46 students from Grade 7 to Senior High School completed the 1-month program and were awarded certificates of completion. Special awards were also given to outstanding students in English and Mathematics.

The event also featured a presentation of studentsโ€™ outputs, highlighting their progress in both subjects.

Hannah Oliver from 12-ABM 1 proudly secured 4th place in Editorial Cartooning at the DSPC, under the mentorship of Ms. Adlemi Rose Tupaz. The competition took place at Far Eastern University on January 18, 2025, with participants from various schools across Manila.

On Monday, October 7, Mahighers celebrated the culmination of National Teachers' Month with gift-giving, creative bulletin boards, and energetic performances in honor of MHS faculty.

Despite a rainy morning, the MHS Amadome buzzed with excitement as students eagerly anticipated the start of the program. The event officially commenced at 8:20 AM, following a short break after the morning mass. Teachers and faculty from each grade level were introduced, making their way down the center aisle to enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.

The program featured an intermission performance by the Dance Troupe Club, which presented an intensively rehearsed choreography prepared over the weekends.
During the event, winners of the Teachers' Month contests, organized by the Supreme Student Government (SSLG), were awarded. Marian Faith Eleydo, the first-place winner of the spoken poetry contest, captivated the audience by reciting her winning poem on stage.

The highlight of the celebration was the announcement of the champion for the "Teacher Ko, Idol Ko" competition. Mrs. Maria Grizel Ragandang-Monroy, representing Grade 12, was declared the winner, closing the event on a high note.
