UPDATE sa ICC Case ni FPRRD!

Naglabas na ng opisyal na pahayag sina Judge Reine Alapini-Gansou at Judge Socorro Flores Liera tungkol sa hiling na ma-disqualify sila sa kaso ni Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Ayon sa kanila, nananatili silang patas at walang kinikilingan, at wala raw sapat na dahilan para tanggalin sila sa kaso.

Nilinaw din nila na ang mga nauna nilang desisyon ay ginawa pa noong ibang yugto ng proseso at hindi pa sakop ang mga isyung binabanggit ngayon, lalo na ang tungkol sa pagkalas ng Pilipinas sa ICC. Ibig sabihin, bago at iba ang mga argumento ngayon, kaya hindi ito dapat maging basehan para sabihing bias sila.

Pinaalala rin nila na trabaho talaga ng mga huwes na magdesisyon nang patas base sa ebidensya at argumento na inihahain sa bawat yugto ng kaso. Hindi raw ibig sabihin na may dating ruling na sila, ay hindi na sila puwedeng humawak ulit ng related na isyu.

Sa huli, hiniling nila sa Plenary of Judges na ibasura ang request na i-disqualify sila. Buo raw ang kanilang kakayahan at commitment na gampanan ang tungkulin nang may integridad at katarungan.
