Ipinagdiriwang natin ngayon ang kanyang Nativity ang simula ng buhay ng ating mapagmahal na Ina na buong kababaang-loob na nagsabi:

From the butterflies of the honeymoon, to the struggles of adjustment, the arguments and misunderstandings, the commitment to stay, building a family, discovering mature love, and finallyโ€ฆ

Because true love isn't about feeling happy every day.

Bago pa man maitayo ang napakagandang St. Peterโ€™s Basilica na nakikita natin ngayon, mayroon nang isang malaking basilica sa lugar na iyon ang Old St. Peterโ€™s Basilica, na itinayo noong ika-4 na siglo.

Mahigit isang libong taon itong naging sentro ng buhay ng Simbahan sa Rome bago sinimulan ang pagtatayo ng kasalukuyang basilica noong 1506.

At hindi lang iyan ang mga Santo Papa noon ay may ibang pangunahing tirahan: ang Lateran Palace.

Kaya kapag tinitingnan natin ang St. Peterโ€™s Basilica ngayon, tandaan natin: hindi nagsimula ang kasaysayan ng Simbahan sa gusaling nakikita natin ngayon.

Isang pasasalamat.
O kahit anong bagay na matagal mo nang kinikimkim.

I-comment mo lang dito. Walang judgment Promise.

Baka hindi man natin kayang ayusin ang lahat, pero kaya nating ipagdasal ang isaโ€™t isa.

At kung ayaw mong magpabanggit ng pangalan, okay lang. God knows who you are and what you're going through.

Sometimes, isang simpleng gesture lang ang kailangan para maalala natin kung kanino tayo kumakapit.

When youโ€™re praying.
When you pass a church.
When you see an accident.
When you hear a siren.
When you pass a cemetery.
When youโ€™re afraid.
When you receive a blessing.
When youโ€™re tempted to do something wrong.

The Sign of the Cross is not magic.
Hindi rin ito ginagawa just because nakasanayan na natin.

It is a profession of faith a reminder that we belong to Christ, that God is with us, and that the Cross is at the heart of our Christian life.

So next time you make the Sign of the Cross, donโ€™t just do it out of habit. Pray it. Mean it. Remember Christ.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta, born Anjezรซ Gonxhe Bojaxhiu on August 26, 1910, in Skopje (now North Macedonia), was a Roman Catholic nun and missionary known for her humanitarian work with the poor and sick in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), India. She founded the Missionaries of Charity in 1950, an organization dedicated to caring for the "hungry, naked, homeless, crippled, blind, and lepers" as well as those dying of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and leprosy.

Her work earned her global recognition and numerous awards, including the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. Mother Teresa was widely admired for her compassion and selfless service, though her work and views also sparked controversy and criticism. She passed away on September 5, 1997, and was canonized as a saint by the Catholic Church in 2016.
