Friendship, that’s really what RAN Online was all about for me. I met some amazing people playing Ran Online, and I’ll always be grateful for the memories we created together. Even now, it’s still my favorite game, and it makes me a little sad that it’s not as popular as it used to be.
Nothing beat the thrill of Club Wars, School Wars and Club Death Match. It was hands-down the most fun I’ve ever had in any game.
Ran Online had this perfect mix of PK TIME, Boss hunting, FPK and PvE. The art style had much charm, and the soundtrack, still some of the best music I’ve ever heard in a game. The classes were all unique and fun in their own way. I eventually made at least one of every class, and none of them ever felt like filler. Each one had its own role and brought something cool to group play. The skill gap was huge too, way more than you’d expect just by looking at the character.
In the end, the graphics, music, and gameplay all came together into this experience that really stuck with you. For those of us who were there, it wasn’t just a game, it was a world we were part of, and one I’ll always remember fondly.
