Dahil sa inaasahang mataas na heat index na aabot sa 43°C bukas, Marso 4, 2025, wala po munang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas sa Maynila.

Sa halip, pwede pong mag shift ang mga paaralan sa alternatibong mga paraan ng pagkatuto para sa mga mag-aaral, tulad ng online classes o mga aktibidad na maaaring gawin sa kanilang mga tahanan.

Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat, lalo na ang ating mga mag-aaral, na uminom ng maraming tubig upang maiwasan ang dehydration. Hangga't maaari, manatili na lang sa loob ng bahay at iwasan ang matinding sikat ng araw. Kung kailangang lumabas, siguraduhing may proteksyon laban sa init. Ingat po tayong lahat.

Make way for the champions !

Grade 9- Amity and Grade 10 Rizal roared as they were declared winners in the recently concluded Cheerdance Competition,Feb. 28 .

Students showcased their creative minds as each grade level was given a theme for their routines.

Grade 9- Amity brought the crowd dancing to the songs of 20s.

Meanwhile , grade 10- Rizal took the audience on a magic carpet ride with their Aladin- inspired routine.

The said activity was still part of the National Arts Month Celebration organized by the MAPEH Department.

With 353 votes, Diether Huerta from 9-Amity was declared the newly elected president during the SSLG election held earlier today, feb 27.

Huerta, the flag bearer of ALAB Partylist, surpassed Edgar Tinio from SIKLAB Partylist, who garnered 308 votes.

Meanwhile, from Huerta's partylist, John Vincent Felizardo secured the vice- president slot.

Other candidates from the ALAB Partylist, namely Shane Lima, Hanley Leopardas, Ayessa Mendoza, Maureen Adrias, Carlene Mercado, and Celestine Pacada, won their respective positions.

Jovie Ann Pedragosa and Khlyford Antisoda will bring SIKLAB Partylist's name as SSLG officers.

I want to spend more time with you!

In a recent online poll created two days before Valentine's Day, 80 students, or Thirty-nine percent of 205 who responded to the survey chose 'Quality Time' as their love language.

"Yung quality time kasi sir, mas na fo-foster yung deeper understanding nila sa isa’t isa, para malaman po nila yung ayaw at gusto ng partner nila, and it provides personal growth po." said by a student when asked why she prefers quality time as her love language.

Chuck Saliba, the Editor-in-chief of Ang Gintong Panitik said quality time means creating quality memories with your love ones.

Meanwhile, 33 percent of the respondents picked physical touch as their love language, words of affirmation with thirteen percent , nine percent acts of service and five percent for giving gifts.

Recently, a survey conducted by national Social Weather Stations (SWS) said sixty-seven percent of adult Filipinos express their love through acts of service, making it the most common of the five love languages.

𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐃𝐅𝐎𝐓

EQHS students took home awards in the Division Festival Of Talents(DFOT) held last Feb. 5 and 6.

The duo from 10-Rizal, Kurt Darwin Policarpio Jedidiah G. Espinosa won 5th Place in TechnoQuiz trained by Mrs. Mary Ann Matienzo
and Mrs. Jaemie Valendiano.

Moreover, Tyron William B. Latoza from SHS 11- A , with Artagan Flores from 9- Amity as his alternative, bagged the 6th place in Webpage Design with Mr. Edje Shavin Ambas and Mrs. Christine Fontelera as their trainers.

Meanwhile, the Faculty of Home Economics came prepared for the said competition as they could take home 4th Place in the Nail Art Competition by Karylle Celerio, 10 - Jacinto and her trainer, Mrs. Genrose Agustin.

ROAD TO RSPC !

Steven Escolano and Alliah Gobasco from 9 -Amity will represent EQHS at the Regional Schools Press Conference after winning in their respective categories in the recent Division Schools Press Conference, held earlier today, Jan. 18, at FEU Manila.

Escolano won 1st Place in Editorial Cartooning while Gobasco finished 3rd in Pagsulat ng Balitang Isports.

Another promising cartoonist, Aaron James Santos from 10- Rizal able to take home the 4th spot in Editoryal Kartuning.

They competed along with the other schools from the Division of Manila both public and private.

Gobasco and Escolano will prepare for the RSPC to be held at Paranaque City.

Quirinian Taekwondo Team snatched 7 gold medals during the District Meet held today ,Jan. 8 at Celedonio Elementary School.

Different schools from District 6 competed in this three-day sport event.

Here are the students who won gold medals ;

Meanwhile , Ryan D. Solano from 11- HUMSS won a bronze medal at the said event.

Mr. Delchar Binondo , their coach , also brought home the bacon as he was declared as the "Winning Coach " for winning several gold medals. He was assisted by Nrsimhadev R. Bravo from 11-HUMSS.

Mr. Binondo said that this is the result of the hard work that these student-athletes put for this event.

The excitement rises as they will now prepare for the upcoming Palarong Maynila which was scheduled next week.
