These works raise awareness and invite readers to reflect on how they use the power of words to write or unwrite people/s and realities.

The shattered mirror, projecting fragments of text, symbolizes the embodiment of our lived experiences, narratives, and culture through literary works. 📚 DALIN Journal Volume 2, Issue 2 - Open for Submissions! 📚

DALIN Journal invites you to submit your manuscript for its December 2023 Issue.

🌟 No Particular Theme!
This issue has no specific theme, allowing a wide range of contributions. We welcome submissions falling into the following categories:

1. Article: Share your insights, opinions, and reflections. Articles can be argumentative, expository, or reflexive. The ideal length is between 2,000 to 6,000 words.

2. Research: Contribute empirical papers that include an abstract, introduction, methodology, results, and discussions. We accept qualitative-literary, qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods research. The recommended length for research papers is 2,000 to 6,000 words.

3. Critique: Write book reviews and literary criticism, whether of local or foreign works. Critiques should be 1,000-2,500 words in length.

4. Creative Works: Unleash your creativity with original pieces. Poetry (one up to four, if part of a series), flash fiction (50 to 1,000 words), short fiction (about 7,500 words), or comics (1-3 pages).

📢 A NEW Call for Publication is now released! 📢

We are thrilled to announce the DALIN Journal Special Issue on Gender, Literature, and Pedagogy, with the theme: "Gendering Literature and Literature Teaching." It is co-edited by Dr. Joey Andrew L. Santos, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan.

📌 Topics of interest for this Special Issue include, but are not limited to:

🌸 Gender representation in literature
🌸 Feminist literary criticism
🌸 Q***r literature and LGBTQ+ identities and representations
🌸 Gender-sensitive pedagogy in literature teaching

Submissions can take various forms, including research articles, case studies, critiques, and pedagogical reflections. We also welcome book reviews and creative works that explore the theme through poetry, short fiction, or even personal narratives. 📝✉️
