A Heartfelt Thank You – Summer Student Recital in Paris 🌻🎶🎤🎹

Yesterday, Lisa, Charley, and I held a truly special summer student recital — our first collaboration as voice teachers here in Paris. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with music, laughter, and so much heart. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of a team that shares not only a passion for teaching music, but also a deep love for building a warm, supportive community. That kind of spark — of joy and connection through music — is rare, and I treasure it.

To all the parents, thank you for encouraging your children to explore their musical journey. Your support means the world.

A huge thank you to Marian from .paris for welcoming us into such a beautiful venue, to for graciously providing the printed programs designed by , to .kamei for her elegant and seamless piano accompaniment, and to Claire, our wonderful photographer, for capturing all the special moments.

Last night, I found myself holding back tears. I’ve dreamed of hosting recitals like this — ones where, by the end of the night, people come up to me and say how much they loved the performances, the energy in the room, the smiles on the kids’ faces, and the heartfelt support from the audience. It means more to me than words can say.

I can’t wait to see where this path leads. One day, I hope to open my own music school — a space where even more students can discover the joy of making music and the magic of sharing it with others.
