Muling iginiit ni Vice President Sara Duterte na hindi siya kumbinsido sa imbestigasyon ng pamahalaang Marcos, Jr. sa maanomalyang flood control projects.

Ayon sa bise, ang lahat ng ito ay para lamang paghatian umano ang 2026 budget at paghandaan ang eleksyon sa 2028.

ILANG LUXURY CARS NG MGA DISCAYA, BAKIT NAKALUSOT SA LTO?

Inutusan ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Acting Sec. Giovanni Lopez ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) na magsumite ng report kung paano narehistro ang ilang luxury cars ng mga Discaya nang kulang ang dokumento.

Kasunod ito ng pagkumpirma ni BOC Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno na walo sa luxury cars ng mga Discaya na nasa kustodiya ng ahensya ang walang import entries at certificates of payment.

“Kinausap ko po ang ating LTO na paano narehistro kung walang certificate of payment or import entry?” saad ni Acting Sec. Lopez sa panayam sa “Ted Failon and DJ Chacha” sa True FM.

“Ang sabi naman ng LTO, ina-upload lang kasi ang certificate of payment, ganun lang daw ang proseso. Ang pag-a-upload [ay] galing sa Bureau of Customs,” dagdag pa niya.

Kinumpirma ni Senate President Pro Tempore Panfilo “Ping” Lacson ang umano’y P355 milyong insertion ni Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, sa pagpapatuloy ng pagdinig ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee ngayong Huwebes, Setyembre 18.

Matatandaang idinawit ni dating DPWH Bulacan 1st District assistant engineer Brice Hernandez si Estrada sa mga maanomalyang flood control projects, kung saan isiniwalat niya na: “Si Senator Jinggoy po ay nagbaba ng P355 milyon ngayong 2025 sa mga ilang projects sa Bulacan.”

“Meron talagang insertion, na wala sa House version, pero lumabas ito sa… after bicam,” ani Lacson.

Ito ay sa kabila ng pagtanggi ni Estrada na mayroon siyang porsyento sa naturang proyekto: “I deny vehemently…na humingi ako ng porsiyento sa mga proyekto.”

Inamin ni dismissed Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan district engineer Henry Alcantara na tumanggap siya ng luxury cars bilang birthday gift mula sa kanyang mga kasamahan at katrabaho.

Giit ni Alcantara, akala niya raw binigyan siya ng mamahaling regalo bilang "sukli ng pagmamahal."

Sa kabila nito, mariing nanindigan si Alcantara na wala siyang alam sa anomalya sa flood control projects.

Palace Press Officer Usec insisted. Claire Castro is now President. Bongbong Marcos led the investigation of alleged corruption in the flood control project in the country.

Castro said this after Vice Pres questioned him. Sara Duterte on why the President is allegedly letting the congressmen escape accountability related to the issue.

"He must also know that the travel of the lawmakers is covered by the House Speaker or the Senate President, and not by the President because there is separation of powers," Castro said.

"What is the difference between the travel of Rep. Zaldy (Co) and the Vice President? "He still asked questions.
