This happened to a Chinese man in 2014, who was on vacation with his family in South Korea. The man, named Chen, discovered that his child had used his passport as a canvas to unleash his creativity, drawing a beard, darkening the eyes, and adding a series of animals and other abstract art to the official document. As a result, airport security couldn't scan Chen's passport, preventing him from boarding the flight back to his country. So, if you have young and creative kids, remember: don't leave your passport where they can easily get to it!
