THROUGH THE FIRE
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. leads the incineration of seized illegal drugs at Clean Leaf International Corporation in Barangay Cutcut, Capas, Tarlac on June 25, 2025, as part of the government’s ongoing anti-drug campaign. The event followed the President's inspection a day earlier of 1,530.647 kilograms of illegal drugs worth ₱9.48 billion, intercepted in Luzon waters in separate operations. Joined by Justice and anti-drug officials, the President witnessed the confirmatory testing of methamphetamine, ma*****na, co***ne, and ecstasy before overseeing the loading of the substances into the incinerator. Manila Water President and CEO Jocot De Dios speaks during the celebration of Arbor Day at La Mesa EcoPark in Quezon City on June 25, 2025. With the theme 'Punung-puno ng Pag-asa: Roots of Sustainability," the event brought together students, volunteers, and key stakeholders in a shared commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. Now on its fourth year, Manila Water's Arbor Day initiative continues to deepen its roots in community engagement and ecological advocacy. Sixty students from SSS Village Elementary School, Valeriano E. Fugoso Memorial Elementary School, and San Lorenzo Ruiz Elementary School participated in hands-on activities that included seed bagging, soil potting, and a guided tour of the ecopark. DPWH monitors 3-ton limit of vehicles passing through San Juanico Bridge

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) uses weighbridge systems and axle load sensors to monitor the gross vehicular weight of all units approaching the San Juanico Bridge. Any vehicle exceeding the 3-ton weight limit is strictly prohibited from crossing to prevent structural fatigue and preserve the long-term integrity of the 2.16-kilometer span.

Sara paints 'dire' picture of SONA
