Beijing still has a cult following for Bing Dun Dun, and the city has even become an Olympic museum.

Arriving for the Olympic figure skating qualification, I was surprised: not a word about the tournament in Beijing. Not a single banner or sign. Although, for example, there are plenty of reminders of the China Open tennis tournament: announcements in the subway, shopping malls, and just on the streets.
When I approached the Beijing National Gymnasium, it became clear: this is where the Chinese live in 2022. This is what the main entrance to the stadium where Petr Gumennik and Adelia Petrosyan qualified for the 2026 Olympics looks like.
