🎉 BS International Culinary Management student Jose Antonio Silos Tuvera got a perfect 100 points in the cake display category at the Battle of the Pastry & Bakery Chefs 2025. 🏆 Coached by Chef Jeriel Encarnado and Chef Abram Peralta. This is the PH's 2nd Gold with Distinction after Chef Alyzza Bundalian's win in 2018 – both from LPU Laguna! 👏 Judges included world-famous chefs like Chef Kenny Kong and Chef Erik Kim. Tuvera's cake display nailed technical skill, artistry, and innovation – setting new world standards! 🌟 LPU Laguna keeps pushing PH pastry & culinary arts globally! 🎊 "

The 𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 official logo embodies the spirit of unity, culture, and diversity of Zamboanga del Sur. At the center are three clasped hands, representing solidarity and brotherhood among the Subanen, Moro Communities, and Local Settlers — the three cultural pillars of the province.

The traditional garments and patterns symbolize the rich cultural heritage and colorful traditions that continue to thrive and inspire generations. The vibrant ornamental elements reflect festivity, joy, and thanksgiving, while the woven background motifs highlight artistry, resilience, and identity.

The word “𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧”, a Subanen term meaning “unity”, reinforces the festival’s core message — that despite differences, Zamboanga del Sur moves forward as one united people.

This year’s logo not only marks the grand comeback of the Megayon Festival but also commemorates the 𝟕𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫:
