Our job as financial advisors, is only to assess our clients' cashflow and their current financial situation and recommend a program that could possibly help them and explain to them what these programs can do and to help them arrive to a decision best to their interest and current situation. Sa part natin, we know from the initial assessment palang if they really can sustain getting an insurance policy or getting invested or better if postpone it muna on a later date. 😉

Of course, at the end of the day, nasa kanila pa din ang decision. We only explain the value and recommend solutions to them. And regardless of whatever decision they will come up with, we must respect that. ^_^

Here's how I explained insurance to my 6 y/o cousin with the help of his mom.🤗

I asked him if he owns a bike. He said yes and showed it to me.🚲

I told him to imagine what if one of the wheels of his bike got busted, what will he do?😱

He answered, "Kailangan ipaayos para magamit at masakyan ko ulit Kuya."🤔

And then I told him that it would cost around 500 pesos.🫢

He then asked his mom, where to get the money to pay for the repair of his bike.🥹

His mom reminded him that he was able to save coins and a few money in his piggy bank.🐷

He responded, "pero konti lang yun Ma, mga nasa 50 pesos pa lang naihuhulog ko, maliit pa lang."

Her mom then said, "don't worry ako na bahala sa 450 pesos."

Actually, that's how insurance works. Save a small amount and someone (your mother or the insurance company) will back you up for the huge amount to pay the bills to repair your bike or in our case, to pay for medical bills and financial support for the family.
