🙏 Prayer for the People of Davao

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the people of Davao and all those affected by the earthquake. Lord, please extend Your hand of protection and mercy over them.

Comfort those who are afraid, strengthen those who are helping, and bring healing to those who are hurt. We pray for the families who have lost homes or loved ones—may they feel Your presence and peace in the midst of their pain.

Lord, calm the trembling of the earth and the hearts of Your people. Grant wisdom and strength to the rescuers, leaders, and communities as they rebuild and recover.

May this tragedy remind us to hold on to faith, to care for one another, and to trust that Your love endures through every storm and shaking.

In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.

this video really broke my heart— i had so much realization while watching this.

so, this is a challenge were you need to step forward if you experience what been stated. it's like a normal trend, but it's very sad.

this father and his kids did this challenge— as his kids stepped forward, they probably had a lot of realization, also, feel bad and sad.

“move one step forward if you ate pizza by the age of seven.”

“move one step forward if you have a daddy that would drop you off at school.”

“move one step forward if you have a daddy that will take you to the park.”

“move one step forward if you have a dad that will play with you after work.”

“move one step forward if more than two pairs of shoes by the age of seven.”

the challege keeps on going as the kids keep on stepping forward until the last question.

“move one step forward if you have to work to help provide for your parents by the age of eight, ” and finally, their dad stepped forward.

the kids started to cry and went back to their dad to give him a hug— the challenge made them realized how lucky they are, that their dad broke the chain or stigma for them to live a comfortable and happy life.

we're too focused on healing ourselves that we forget our parents are also carrying wounds from their childhood. that's why let's show them respect, care, and love— let's always be grateful.

My favorite story of Charlie Kirk is how he courted his wife Erika.

The story goes, Erika was running her own business in NYC called "Proclaim Streetwear". If you buy a sweatshirt from them, they'll also give one to a homeless person on the street. She loved Jesus a lot and started this business to honor Him.

Charlie and Erika first bumped into each other while in line at the airport. (EDIT: Other videos are saying they met at Turning Point USA Office)

From there they kept in touch.

Charlie asked her if she was interested in a job at Turning Point USA. She was like, "Hmm, didn't cross my mind but sure, I'll interview."

The interview entailed a one-on-one meeting with Charlie at a restaurant.

They interview lasted 3 hours because after talking politics and strategy, they just talked about any and everything.

The restaurant was closing so they had to leave.

Then Charlie said, "You're really great but I cannot hire you at TP USA".

Erika was like, "Okay! No problem. I still have my business".

Then Charlie said, "I cannot hire you...because I want to date you".

She was completely taken aback.

She was like, "Okay! 👍🏻👍🏻 "

Then they left the restaurant and went their separate ways.

On her way back, Erika's mom called her and asked how the interview went. She said, "I didn't get the job...but hmmm, I got a boyfriend??"
