We stayed at Majestic Puraran Beach Resort last August, and honestly, the place felt like home. There’s just something about being there that’s very hard to explain — like a spell cast on you that makes you forget all your problems, the noise, and the chaos from the city. Everything about it is calm, peaceful, and beautifully slow-living.

What truly made the experience special were the people, and seeing how much they’ve been affected by Typhoon Uwan just breaks my heart. The staff were some of the warmest and kindest souls we’ve ever met. I just really hope everyone is safe and recovers soon from this devastating situation.

When everything returns to normal for them, I hope you give them a chance and book your stay here to experience the magic for yourself firsthand.

Full day of queuing in Nusa Penida, Indonesia and as someone who usually goes for underrated gems… siZ was shoOkT.

That said, this island is undeniably beautiful. If this is included on your list, I’d recommend staying at least 2–3 days so you can explore at a slower pace and truly enjoy what the island has to offer instead of trying to squeeze everything in one day.
