World Bazaar Festival 2024: A Festive Blend of Shopping, Giving, and Creativity

Christmas really is the best time of the year. It’s that perfect mix of giving, celebrating, and treating ourselves. And if you’re looking for a place that checks all those boxes, the World Bazaar Festival has you covered. Not only is it a Christmas shopper’s paradise, but it’s also a charity event, so you can shop and give back to those in need.
Think of it as a massive Christmas market, like the ones you see abroad, but with a Filipino twist. From December 13 to 22, 2024, I got to explore stalls packed with amazing deals, festive decorations, and more. And the best part? Entry is just ₱120! Perfect for those last-minute Christmas decorations or unique gifts for your loved ones.
But this year, WBF added a little something extra to the holiday cheer: cosplay! On December 15, they hosted a cosplay event, and let me tell you—it was a treat. Now, cosplay is still pretty new to WBF (it only started last year), but their effort to make it special didn’t go unnoticed. For just ₱120, attendees got to watch a Cosplay Catwalk, called Woobie’s Coswalk: The Parade of Characters Season 2, which is such a steal if you think about it. Events like these help newcomers discover the cosplay community and even inspire future cosplayers.
The stage featured three cosplayers—Resy King, Jan Michael King, and Arnauld Symon Cruz—and they were amazing. The detail in their costumes and how they bring the character to life for the audience is just incredible! Shoppers started gowing towards the stage to get a closer look at them, and even though there were only three performers, they made it count.
I really hope this becomes a bigger part of WBF in the future. Imagine more cosplayers, and more stuff for our community? It would be such a fun addition to an already amazing event!
Of course, WBF isn’t just about cosplay. I spent most of my day enjoying the other activities—snacking on free samples (they were everywhere!), grabbing some food, and ticking off gifts from my Christmas shopping list. There’s something so satisfying about finding that perfect present while soaking in all the holiday vibes.

Shop All The Way as the World Bazaar Festival 2024 Opens Today!

PASAY CITY, PHILIPPINES. It’s time to shop all the way as the World Bazaar Festival (WBF) makes its grand return at the World Trade Center Metro Manila! With consistent increase in foot traffic year after year, the annual charity bazaar has become a staple in the holiday destination in the Philippines, spreading cheers and smiles among Filipinos!

This year’s theme is “Shop All The Way”, a fitting theme that reflects the current holiday season and the culture of gift giving. The theme also fits with the World Bazaar Festival and its unlimited options for shoppers to experience and check out the amazing exclusive deals and unique products available. In line with the theme, the World Bazaar Festival is sure to offer options from more than 550 merchants from all over the world! These items range from appliances, pet items, houseware, clothes, food items, toys, fabrics, accessories, and even electronics. Be amazed by lifesized trains, whimsical decorations, and Instagrammable spots that will transport you to Woobie’s Express - a shopping pit stop like no other!

The opening ceremony, which happened on December 13, 2024, was hosted by TNT Alumna Ana Ramsay. Her energy and extraordinary hosting skills made the opening ceremony very lively for everyone. Mr. Joseph Ang, the founding chairman of WSI, gave his opening speech to officially welcome visitors to the ten long-day festive treats of the World Bazaar Festival. Joining him are Co-founding Chair Ms. Levi Ang, WSI Managing Director Ms. Jill Aithnie Ang, and WSI Financial Director Ms. Michelle Paula Ang-Yu. Gracing the opening ceremony was the Mayor of Pasay City Hon. Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano; the House of Representatives - 2nd District of Laguna Hon. Congresswoman Ruth Hernandez, represented by Ms. Fatima Eleonor A. Villasenor; Secretary of the Department of Agriculture Hon. Fransisco P. Tiu Laurel Jr., represented by Dir. Junibert E. De Sagun; and Secretary for the Department of Tourism Hon. Christina Garcia Frasco, represented by Hon. Usec Myra Paz Valderrosa-Abubakar

JUJUTSU KAISEN has descended on Erangel and Livik! The popular anime series focuses on a high school student named Yuji Itadori, who swallows a cursed finger and taking the curse into his own soul. Jujutsu Sorcerers sentence him to death, but before that happens, he must find and consume the Curse’s remaining fingers. In a first-time partnership between PUBG MOBILE and JUJUTSU KAISEN, fans will see the characters and artwork from the world-renowned and much beloved Shōnen series enter the game. Yuji Itadori, along with fellow students Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki and teacher Satoru Gojo will all be available through Cosplay Sets for players to collect and use in battle. Choose Ranked Theme Mode for either Erangel or Livik, where players can battle on the new special theme mode. In each map, players will find Cursed Object Crates, which contain Sealed Sukuna Fingers. Find and collect all the fingers for rewards and special achievements. Beware! These crates won’t be easy to find–players who struggle can check the clues in the Cycle system to help them locate the crates. Cursed Corpses can now also appear in this Theme Mode! The Cursed Corpse Grenade has also been added, which when used will summon a Boss Cursed Corpse. Defeat it to earn supplies that will help players win a Chicken Dinner. Cursed Corpse Grenades can be found throughout the map as they have a small chance of randomly spawning. Throughout the collaboration, players will also be able to accumulate Exploration Progress, either through playing the JUJUTSU KAISEN Theme Mode or normal Classic Mode matches–players can earn more Exploration Progress in the JUJUTSU KAISEN Theme Mode. Collecting enough Exploration Progress allows players to earn JUJUTSU KAISEN themed rewards, temporary special emotes, Cosplay Sets and Ornaments for Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, custom weapon and car skins and items such as Cursed Corpse Cathy, who is available as a companion.
