Jasmine and Lily had built a life together and were known publicly as a couple. For a time, according to their testimony, they believed they could continue in their same-sex relationship while also identifying as Christians.

But they say something changed when their faith in Jesus became more personal.

According to the pair, their encounter with Christ led them to begin questioning whether every part of their lives was truly surrendered to the faith they now professed. Eventually, they came to the conviction that following Jesus meant ending their romantic relationship.

It was not presented as a story of hatred or condemnation toward others. Rather, Jasmine and Lily described it as a personal decision rooted in their own understanding of biblical teaching and what obedience to Christ required of them.
