"The Snack That Zapped Back"

Percy Spencer was just your average genius engineer, working on radar machines during World War II. One day, while tweaking a radar tube, he felt something weird… his pants were getting too warm.

He checked—no fire, no accident—but his chocolate bar had melted right in his pocket! Instead of panicking like a normal person, Percy just stared at it and said, “Huh… my pants cooked my candy.”

So what does a curious genius do next? He grabbed a bag of popcorn kernels, pointed the radar thing at it, and bam! Instant popcorn explosion all over the lab. His coworkers thought he’d invented a weapon… but nope, just a snack attack.

Next up: an egg. Spoiler alert—it exploded in someone’s face. RIP lab omelet.

And just like that, Percy realized he wasn’t just building radar… he was inventing the world’s first microwave oven.

The ECQ - Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon is part of the COVID-19 community quarantines in the Philippines, a larger scale of COVID-19 containment measures with varying degrees of strictness.
The "Enhanced Community Quarantine" (ECQ) is the strictest of these measures and is effectively a total lockdown.
