At a very young age Gavin established his love not only for sport but more so in music and it drew him to open his heart and mind to various types of sound from all his travels all over the world when he used to compete and play tennis internationally. As a young expat in Manila, his interest for music grew further, and being a multifaceted man he excels in playing open format. He erudite his keen

sense of music at The Beat Project Manila wherein he was mentored only by the finest in the music industry and therefore honed his talents as a DJ. Having an exceptional gift and great passion for music, Gavin Skewes gained distinction and is renowned in the local and international scene, as he plays in various top clubs and major music events all over the Philippines and in different parts of Asia. He even seized the title 2014 CHAMPION in the National Finals of the San Mig Light DJ Spin-off and is now the ambassador of the brand as well. He is also one of the freshest members of the prestigious Magic 89.9 Saturday Night Takeover roster. This young breed is continuously swaggering his distinctive bravura in his field...as for him "it only gets STRONGER and BIGGER every day!"
