𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | Awakening Through Cinema: Likhang Mulat 2025 spotlights films that confront truth and corruption

Far Eastern University (FEU) Communication students ignited meaningful conversations on justice, human rights, and accountability as Likhang Mulat: FEU Film Movements Festival opened its Gabi ng Parangal last night at the University Conference Center (UCC), celebrating 14 finalist films that challenge deeply rooted issues of corruption and social conflict.

With the theme “Korapsyon, LABANAN! TIYAKIN ang Pananagutan. Maka-Karapatang Pamumuno, IPAGLABAN,” the festival highlighted films that seek not only to tell stories, but to awaken—to stir critical awareness and reclaim narratives often overshadowed by silence.

Following the 77th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10, 2025, the Film Festival encourages filmmakers to tell stories with a deep relation to the timely circumstances of our society.

Moreover, the Communication Society of Far Eastern University (FEU) successfully executed the opening ceremony for Likhang Mulat: FEU Film Movements Festival 2025 last December 9.
