A great milestone indeed! Kathryn Bernardo is the latest Filipino celebrity to have her own wax figure courtesy of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.

The announcement was made through a post by the museum as seen on their official Instagram account on Oct 22. "Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is welcoming Kathryn Bernardo! Known as the 'Phenomenal Box-Office Queen,' she starred in the FIRST Filipino film to hit 1B pesos globally!"

For years, singer-actress Karylle has been portraying historical characters in period plays. It kept her wondering why she wouldn’t attract similar roles in either TV or film projects.

A surprise call from TBA considering her for the part of former First Lady Aurora Quezon in a film-bio on her husband, President Manuel Luis Quezon, was to be the turning point in Karylle’s career. “It was a wonder that turned into a wish. And then, the offer to do Aurora came at a time that I was busy with many other things. I am just thankful to TBA Studios for waiting for me and for things to fall into their proper places."

K-pop group 2NE1 member Park Bom has sued Yang Hyun-suk, founder of YG Entertainment, for unpaid profits.

On Oct. 22, Park Bom posted on Instagram about the lawsuit, asking people to “please investigate exactly what YG did to Park Bom. Thank you.” In a photo she uploaded, Park Bom is listed as plaintiff while Yang Hyun-suk is the defendant with the charge as “fraud and embezzlement.”

Another year of pure cinema excellence, as Quezon City's homegrown film festival announced the full lineup of movies for its 13th edition. With the theme "Film City," QCinema International Film Festival will run at participating mall theaters: Gateway, Ayala Malls Trinoma, Ayala Malls Cloverleaf, Fisher Mall, and Robinsons Galleria from Nov. 14 to 23.

Featuring a diverse selection of local and international films, QCinema offers nine full-length sections and five short film programs.

It features the uncut versions of my interviews with some interesting hunks. (medyo wholesome pa ang mga umeere sa YouTube ha!) It also showcases our very own reality shows. (ala bahay ni kuya ?!)

One of the most-watched series here is our Felix Bakat Dance Challenge, where boys show their unique dance moves (na dapat ay ala Felix!). This is also one of the favorites of our production team. (mga hayok!) No wonder they insisted on producing its season 2! (I'm sure aabot pa yan ng season 1068!)

Actor Benjamin Alves has said that it was an honor playing the young Manuel L. Quezon, the Philippines' first Commonwealth President, in the historical biopic "Quezon," now showing in cinemas nationwide.

"Even if it's shown 10 years from now, this film will always be relevant because it is our history. This is our story," said Benjamin on the significance of the film during an interview at BGC recently. Jerrold Tarog directs the movie chronicling the life of Quezon, also known as the Father of the National Language.

K-pop boy group Stray Kids are set to release a new album titled "Do It" next month, the group's agency JYP Entertainment said Tuesday.

The album, scheduled for release on Nov. 21, marks the group's first new music in about three months. The upcoming release will feature five tracks — the double title tracks "Do It" and "Divine," "Holiday," "Photobook," and a special "Do It (Festival version)."
