Justin Timberlake has been diagnosed with Lyme disease, the former NSYNC star said on Instagram Thursday. Timberlake shared the news in a post commemorating his Forget Tomorrow tour, which wrapped in Turkey on Wednesday, adding that the disease “can be relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically.”

The “SexyBack” singer, who described himself as a private person, wrote he considered ending the tour when diagnosed, but wrote that he “decided the joy that performing brings me far outweighs the fleeting stress my body was feeling. I’m so glad I kept going.”

K-pop artist and actress Tiffany Young, a member of Girls’ Generation, made a memorable night with Filipino fans. Tiffany closed her “Here for You” Fan Concert Tour in Manila on July 27 at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura Premier in Taguig.

Actor Paolo Gumabao is thrilled and excited about his first stage performance in the daring psychological one-character play entitled "Walong Libong Piso," which will kick off this month at the Teatrino Promenade in Greenhills, San Juan City.

"Daring ang scenes ko rito. This is my comeback sa pagiging daring sa mga eksena. (My scenes here are daring. This is my comeback to being daring in scenes)," said Paolo when asked about the play during a media conference at the Manila Hotel recently.

One of my favorite local sitcoms is ABS-CBN’s “Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanata” of Direk Jose Javier Reyes. (aliw ang baliw baliwan characters dito!) I even made a special report about it for a project in high school. (bilang lagi naman ako watch nyan every Monday night!) I am not sure if this kind of show, which features satire and spoofs of current events, will still be accepted by the TV viewing public. (marami na kasing sensitive ngayon ha!)

I remembered this show recently when our Head of Productions and Director Lex Bonife of our YouTube channel, WTFu, asked if it was ok to have a spoof character of the controversial viral videos of a gay man from China. (alam na yan ni Aling Tasing!) My answer was: “We can try.” (so go na yan!) Our production team immediately got a talent to play the part. (bilang bawal ang babagal bagal kay direk!) They were suggesting names for the character, but I thought of using: “Ate Hong” (bilang tahong ang kinain ko before ng taping!)
