A beautiful painting that speaks so deeply of human connection, a visual reminder that beneath it all, we are all completely one.

Maybe it’s the sentimentality of this moment as I bring my little ones back to their Ilonggo roots, and as a mama, watching your children walk the land your ancestors walked does something to your soul. It makes you realize how beautifully small, yet how incredibly infinite, we are ✨

Happy birthday my sweet Iraya. You are our sunshine in every sense of the word. God truly knew what He was doing when He gave me a daughter like you… because the love, healing, and joy you’ve brought into my life is something I can never fully put into words.

When you’re older, I hope you read this and truly understand just how loved you have always been.

You have the softest heart, the brightest light, and a kindness that pours so naturally out of you. Even at such a young age, you carry this beautiful ambition and confidence that amazes me every single day. You dream big, love deeply, and make every room warmer just by being in it.

Scrolling through your birthdays tonight makes mama emotional because somehow the little girl I carried is becoming this incredible human right before my eyes. Time moves so fast, but one thing will never change. you will always be my baby.

I thank God every day that I get to be your mama.
