A lover of the written word? Now is your chance to tell us your story! ✍️

Write your heart out and share your unique take on love! Whether it's a poem or prose, we want to hear your voice. ✨

📝 Read guidelines listed below:

1. The piece should highlight any and/or all forms of love.
2. It can be written in English or Filipino, with a maximum of 500 words.
3. It can be in the form of a poem or prose.
4. The piece must have a title and it must be an original write-up by the participant.
5. Strictly one entry per person.
6. This is open for everyone, regardless of age, background, or affiliation.

8. The deadline of submission is on June 24, 2024, at 7:00 PM.

Three words, eight letters—I love you. When do you say it? 👀

Some people say "I love you" on a whim, like it is something that does not need to be thought about—they just say it the moment they feel it. Other people take a while before saying those three words, needing enough time to make sure that what they feel is truly love. 🥰

One thing is for certain, we say “I love you” to anyone, not just our romantic partners! We say it to our family, our friends, even to our pets! So we’d love for you to share your own story, just answer the question: When do you say “I love you”? ❤️

Come and immerse yourself in the kaleidoscope of love! 🫀

SPEC aims to broaden the narrative on love in a society where its definition is often limited. We will honor all forms of love—from romantic to platonic, from one's family to oneself, and more. We hope that through this magazine, we can challenge stereotypes by showing how love transcends both age, s*x, culture, and environment.

And we need your help! Our magazine is in need of financial assistance which will enable us to connect with different voices and pay for printing costs. With your help, we can show our audience (including you 🫵) the love they know and the love they are yet to discover!
