Love is... by Puuung 퍼엉

When we were in South Korea, my sister was determined to buy these books. She wanted us both to pick a set and gift it to each other. It took us on long bus rides to two different branches of 교보생명, with one at Gwanghwamun and the other in Gangnam. We were told that these were the last two sets they had!

These books capture what soft love means—acts of service, the small things, and the comfort of being understood. As they say, a picture speaks a thousand words. These illustrations are creatively made, a keepsake that every hopeless romantic like me would ever want.

P.S. I truly had the best experiences with strangers in SK: an ajumma gave me a candy, a senior citizen who offered me a seat because I was standing and almost fell asleep on the train (declined the offer and thanked him🥹), and the kindness received while searching for these books. I only wish I could put all the other good moments into words.♥️
