So we had an idea… 🥹
What if we turned our family photos into a little bedtime story for Esther and Jacob?
Dear Esther and Jacob,
This book isn’t perfect.
Some of the drawings don’t fully look like you.
Some pages are a little messy.
And honestly, this was just our first try at making something like this.
But last night, something happened that Mommy and Daddy will never forget.
The moment we showed you the story, Esther, your eyes just lit up.
You smiled at every single page.
You pointed at the pictures.
You cuddled closer while we read it together.
And when we finished the story, you asked us to read it again.
So we read the whole bedtime story twice.
And somehow, in that moment, none of the imperfections mattered anymore.
Because you saw yourself in it.
You saw your adventures.
Your little brother.
Your cuddles.
Your family.
And that’s when we realized this was never really about making a perfect children’s book.
It was about preserving these little moments before they quietly become memories.
One day, you’ll both grow older.
Life will move faster.
These bedtime cuddles won’t last forever.
But now, a small piece of your childhood will always live inside these pages.
Not perfect.
But real.
And full of love.
