The UAAP Season 88 officially came to a close with an Oscars-inspired closing ceremony held at the Quadricentennial Pavilion Arena last May 15.

During the ceremony, University of Santo Tomas was hailed as the overall General Champion of Season 88, capping off another historic campaign in a sea of gold and black.

The University also formally turned over the hosting duties to Far Eastern University, which will serve as the host university for UAAP Season 89.
