Camarines Sur, Itinaas sa RED ALERT Status Dahil sa Banta ng LPA

RED ALERT STATUS RAISED IN CAMARINES SUR

In light of the approaching Low Pressure Area (Pre-Jacinto), the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, led by Governor Lray Villafuerte, has placed the province under RED ALERT STATUS effective 5:00 AM, August 25, 2025.

📌 All local DRRM councils and response agencies are directed to activate emergency protocols and ensure 24/7 operations.
📌 Pre-emptive and forced evacuations may be conducted in high-risk areas.
📌 Strict water safety measures are in place — no swimming, no crossing, and no small watercraft operations.
📌 Localized class and work suspensions may be implemented based on prevailing conditions.

Noong gabi ng Hulyo 23, 2025, isang sunog ang tumupok sa tahanan ng pamilya ni Manay Nita Penilla sa Brgy. Pagatpatan, Bato, Camarines Sur. Sa gitna ng trahedya, agad na nagpaabot ng tulong at malasakit sina Vice Mayor Dado Zorilla at Konsehal JM Zorilla—isang patunay ng kanilang tunay at makataong paglilingkod.

Maraming salamat po sa inyong walang sawang suporta sa mga Batoeñong nangangailangan.

ADVISORY | WORK & CLASS SUSPENSION: Government office work and classes at all levels are suspended on July 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM onwards in Metro Manila, Cavite, Rizal, Batangas, Laguna, Bulacan, Pampanga, Zambales, and Bataan due to continuous rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon.

The suspension of work in private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective employers.

Affected areas include Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zambales, Tarlac, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Masbate, Sorsogon, Albay, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Palawan, Antique, Aklan, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras, Abra, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Laguna, and Negros Occidental.

Agencies responsible for essential services—such as health, public safety, and disaster response—shall remain operational. Non-vital personnel under these agencies may work under approved alternative work arrangements.
