I used to only dream about this place - seeing it in books, movies, and stories. But now, it's right in front of my eyes. The history, the beauty. It’s surreal.

And the food? We always hear people say Italian food is the best - but you’ll never truly get it until you taste it yourself. Absolutely unforgettable. 🍕🍝🍷

Country #24 and still in awe. Grateful for this journey. 🏛✨

A few days before the conclave.

Vatican City is the smallest independent state in the world - both by area and population. The spiritual heart of the Roman Catholic Church and home to the Pope. Despite its size, its global influence is immense.

Our first international trip together—and I couldn’t be prouder. You’ve grown so much, and now you're ready to conquer the world. Thanks for making my 22nd country, South Korea 🇰🇷, even more memorable. Until our next adventure my dear sister... maybe Europe? Tara na Dito! Labyu! 😊👍

Today, I’m proud to share a small but meaningful victory — I just finished reading Ikigai, and it’s the second book I've completed in my entire adulthood. 😊💪

For me, it's not just about finishing a book — it's about proving to myself that growth is possible, one small step at a time.

Reading Ikigai opened my eyes to what it really means to live a happy, fulfilling life. It’s not about chasing success or waiting for a "perfect" moment — it’s about finding meaning and joy in the simple, everyday things.
Here are some lessons that truly resonated with me:

1. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 — 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.
Keep moving, keep learning, keep growing. True energy comes from staying engaged with what you love.

2. 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 "𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐢" — 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.
It doesn't have to be something big or famous. It just has to give your life meaning.

3. 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰.
A rushed life is a missed life. Joy is found in patience, simplicity, and being present.

4. 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.
Friendships, laughter, and real conversations nourish the soul as much as food nourishes the body.

5. 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥.
A simple smile, a small thank-you — these habits build happiness from the inside out.

6. 𝐍𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥.
Eat lightly, mindfully, and for health — not just pleasure.

7. 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲.
Even gentle movements like stretching, walking, or gardening help you feel alive.

8. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.
A youthful spirit comes from an open mind and a hungry heart.

9. 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞.
Purpose grows when we contribute to something bigger than ourselves.

10. 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞.
Life will change — and when we adapt with joy, we stay strong and peaceful.

Finishing Ikigai reminded me: growth isn’t about speed; it’s about consistency.
I’m excited to keep learning, keep moving forward, and keep celebrating every small step along the way.

If you’re thinking about starting something — a book, a habit, a dream — start today. It doesn't matter how slow you go. What matters is that you don't stop.

Here’s to new beginnings, lifelong learning, and the beautiful journey ahead. Cheers! 😊🍻

Nothing beats lutong-bahay and Filipino streetfood! 🇵🇭 No matter how good the food is abroad, nothing will ever compare to the taste of our comfort food sa Pinas—kare-kare, tapsilog, palabok, and of course, Jollibee! 😋❤️ I miss the simple breakfasts with family, taho, isaw, pork bbq and kwek-kwek sa kanto, and a hot bowl of goto or champorado on a rainy day. 🌧️🥣

Do you remember when we were kids? A plate of tuyo/daing and sinangag felt like a feast. Pancit canton with tinapay was the best merienda combo. And of course, isang takbo lang sa tindahan para bumili ng chichirya at sago’t gulaman was the highlight of the day. Life was so simple back then—but so happy! 😁

To all OFWs out there, konting tiis na lang! Malapit mo nang matikman ulit ang paborito mong lutong bahay, this time, kasama ang pamilya. Tiwala lang—uuwi ka rin sa Pinas, busog ang tiyan at puso. ❤️🇵🇭

𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 – 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐎𝐰𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐬

It’s easy to fall into the trap of comparison, especially in a world where we constantly see other people’s milestones on social media. Some of my friends are getting married, buying houses, and starting families, while I’ve invested in experiences—traveling to 21 countries, hiking breathtaking mountains, trying exotic foods, skydiving, and making unforgettable memories.

People often tell me it’s time to “settle down,” but who says there’s only one way to live a fulfilling life? Others find happiness in raising kids, while I find joy in meeting new people, learning new languages, and experiencing different cultures. Some prioritize career growth and financial stability, while others focus on personal freedom and adventure. And all of these paths are completely valid.

Happiness isn’t about following society’s timeline—it’s about doing what truly brings you joy. Whether you're building a home, growing your career, exploring the world, or focusing on self-growth, remember: your journey is yours alone.

Live fully, embrace your own path, and stop measuring your life against someone else’s. The only timeline that matters is the one that makes you happy.

𝟏𝟎 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝

Have you ever noticed that people who travel just have a different kind of energy? There’s something about them—the way they tell stories, their spontaneity, their ability to adapt to any situation. They make life feel bigger, more exciting, and full of possibilities. If you have a traveler in your life, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Here’s why they’re some of the most fun and inspiring people to be around:

𝟏. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬
Ever sat down with someone who has been to places you’ve only dreamed of? Travelers have the wildest, most unexpected stories—getting lost in a foreign city, meeting strangers who became lifelong friends, or accidentally stumbling upon a once-in-a-lifetime experience. They don’t just talk about places; they bring them to life through their experiences.

𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐔𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞
Need someone who won’t hesitate to say yes to a last-minute road trip, a random food challenge, or a completely unplanned night out? Travelers thrive on the unknown. They’ve learned that the best moments often come when you step out of your comfort zone and embrace the unexpected.

𝟑. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞
Flights get delayed, trains get missed, and plans change—but seasoned travelers don’t stress over the little things. They’ve learned to adapt, stay patient, and find solutions instead of freaking out. That kind of calm energy is contagious and makes them the best people to have around when life throws curveballs.

𝟒. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐲𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐧
Whether they’re in a five-star hotel or eating street food on a sidewalk, travelers know how to enjoy the moment. They’ve learned that joy isn’t about where you are, but how you experience it. Give them an empty beach, a crowded market, or a random town in the middle of nowhere—they’ll turn it into a memory.

𝟓. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞
Travel changes the way you see the world. It teaches you that life isn’t lived the same way everywhere, and that’s a beautiful thing. Travelers have a way of making you question what you thought you knew, opening your mind to new ways of thinking, and introducing you to cultures, traditions, and ideas you never would’ve considered before.

𝟔. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞
Hanging out with a traveler means you’ll probably end up doing something you never thought you would—whether it’s trying an exotic dish, exploring a new city, or booking that spontaneous trip you’ve been too scared to take. They remind you that life is meant to be experienced, not just planned.

𝟕. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬
Travelers aren’t the type to obsess over designer brands or the latest gadgets. What matters to them is the feeling of watching a sunset in a new country, the thrill of making a new friend across the world, or the lessons learned from stepping into an unfamiliar culture. They remind us that memories last longer than material things.

𝟖. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬
There’s never a dull moment when you’re talking to someone who’s been around the world. They have stories that make you laugh, insights that make you think, and experiences that make you want to book your next trip. Whether it’s a deep conversation about life or a hilarious travel fail, they always have something interesting to say.

𝟗. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬
After seeing different ways of life—some extravagant, some incredibly simple—travelers develop a deep sense of gratitude. They don’t take things for granted because they’ve witnessed how happiness exists in the smallest moments: a shared meal, a kind stranger, or just the feeling of being somewhere new.

𝟏𝟎. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐈𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬
At the end of the day, travelers live with a sense of excitement and curiosity. They remind us that the world is vast, full of beauty, and waiting to be explored. Their energy makes every moment feel like an adventure, even if you’re just sitting at home talking about their latest trip.

If you have a traveler in your life, consider yourself lucky. They make life more exciting, more meaningful, and a lot more fun. And if you are that traveler—keep exploring, keep sharing, and keep inspiring the rest of us to see the world the way you do.
