| Officers of the Manila Editors' Guild, the premier journalistic organization in the Division of Manila, made a courtesy visit to Hon. Juliana Rae Ibay, SK Federation president and Ex-Officio of the 13th City Council, at Manila City Hall on September 24.

Among the attendees from Jose Abad Santos High School were School Paper Adviser and Editors' Guild Adviser Mark Fernand Insigne, Angeline Nicole Palma (Associate Secretary), and Kych Hyacinth Pasuelo (Auditor).

Manila Editors' Guild officers, consisting of students from private and public schools, also took their oath, administered by Hon. Ibay.

Every fourth Monday of September is officially celebrated as "𝙆𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖" Day, as declared by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟯𝟮𝟲. Today, September 22, 2025, classes and work in government offices are suspended starting at 1:00 p.m. ‎ ‎

The Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga day gives a chance for Filipinos to spend time with their family and have a break from their daily work cycles, making up for lost time due to the demands of work. 🏠

Not only does this give time for more memorable moments with each other, but it also shows the importance of family—biological or not! As long as the love remains. ‎❤️

‎So, 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀, reach out to your family and relatives and spend some time with each other! Let the day be filled with love and familial bonds, and leave one another with a heartfelt memory before the end of the day! 👩‍👧‍👧🏠
