| On this day, June 8, Abadians welcomed the school year 2026-2027 with the introduction of DepEd's 3-term school calendar.

The new system has three blocks. The first block is the opening block, which is taking place this week. Each term will have the instructional block and the end-of-term block. The whole school year consists of 201 days.

While the new curriculum may bring many changes, remember to enjoy learning and engage socially in a responsible manner.

| Jose Abad Santos High School ends Brigada Eskwela 2026 on June 4 with messages of gratitude for the volunteers who helped clean the school.

Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to teachers in recognition of their efforts as the school gears up for School Year 2026-2027.

This year, Reading Sessions are now included in the Brigada Eskwela schedule, giving every children a chance to enhance their reading and understanding skills.

| Students, parents, teachers and other stakeholders joined together to clean the classrooms of Jose Abad Santos High School for the preparation of the school year 2026-2027.

Brigada Eskwela 2026 started today, June 1, and will end on June 4. This year's theme highlighted "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman."

| Today, May 10, we celebrate a joyous occasion for our mothers who gave their blood, sweat, and tears to provide our needs. Their endless sacrifices, dedication and guidance shaped us to what we are today.

They are the ones who never gave up on us, who stood by us through every challenge, and who gave us the love that makes us feel safe, no matter what we are. Happy Mother's Day to all the queens of our hearts!
