We started with a delicious meal at Ristorante delle Mitre, a CBCP-owned restaurant known for top-quality dishes and its unique Catholic theme. The name “Mitre” comes from the ceremonial headdress worn by bishops, symbolizing service and leadership.

Although the restaurant is church-themed, the food is prepared by professional chefs — and trust us, the flavors are top notch. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Intramuros! 🍽️👌

After dining, we visited San Agustin Church, the oldest stone church in the Philippines and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in 1607, this baroque landmark has witnessed centuries of history, wars, and celebrations. It’s one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Manila.⛪✨

Our 2nd Thursday onboard Ovation of the Seas — Day 10 and still living our best cruise life! 🚢☀️ More amazing food from Windjammer and the Main Dining Room 🍽️, plus some poolside relaxation (we’re the pros at people-watching, not swimming 😂). The outdoor pool got a full clean today, and of course, we didn’t miss our daily dose of soft-serve 🍦. Life at sea is definitely treating us right! 💙

Headliner Showtime: Albert Lucas 🎪✨

We capped off Day 9 with an incredible performance by Albert Lucas, a world-record-holding juggler and entertainer with over 20 Guinness World Records! His act was nonstop energy, humor, and jaw-dropping skill — the perfect way to spend an evening at sea 🌊⚓️

If you ever see his name on the lineup, don’t miss it. Arrive early, seats fill up fast! 🎟️

Day 9: Life at Sea 🌊⛴️Our morning started with a ship drill — “Bravo Bravo Bravo” echoed through the hallways (for the crew only this time!). After that, we found a new favorite spot for breakfast — The Solarium Café, peaceful and filled with ocean views. Of course, we couldn’t resist a second breakfast at Windjammer 😋

We skipped lunch (still too full!) and had dinner at the Main Dining Room. I had Escargots, Steak, and Mango Pudding, while Arthur ordered the Salmon — perfectly cooked and flavorful.

In the afternoon, we relaxed by the North Star Bar with a few drinks, enjoyed the warm sea breeze, and watched the waves and poolside fun below. The weather was absolutely perfect — calm, sunny, and full of that endless ocean horizon feeling 🌅🍸

Day 8 at sea! We officially skipped Day 7 thanks to crossing the International Date Line — goodbye, Monday! ⏰🌏 Started the morning enjoying the view from our ‘obstructed’ balcony (which honestly isn’t bad at all) and the perfect weather. ☀️ Breakfast at Windjammer hit the spot before laundry day kicked in — thank you, Diamond Plus perks! I somehow fit 33 pieces of clothing into one free laundry bag (a $34 win 💪🧺). We spent the evening relaxing in the Crown Lounge and grabbing late-night bites at Sorrento’s 🍕 before ending the night with the hilarious and talented Royal Comedian Mario D’Andrea 🎤🎸. What a fun and easy day at sea! 🚢💙
