“Why did you choose this path?” ✨
That was the question asked during one of our discussions in my training at Eliora—and honestly, it stopped me in my tracks 🤍
Because even though I’m already a VA, the question made me pause, reflect, and look back at why I started in the first place.
I began my journey in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic—one of the most uncertain and difficult eras for so many of us 🌍💔
Life felt fragile. Plans were disrupted. Priorities shifted. And in that season, God slowly taught me something important 🙏
Work should not just be about surviving—it should be about living with intention and faith.
Back then, my reason was simple but deeply personal:
👉 I wanted more time with my family—especially my kids 👨👩👧👦💕
Growing up, my siblings and I were blessed in many ways. My parents were incredibly hardworking 💪
Nabigay nila sa amin ang comfort, ang luho, ang stability. They were present during the big milestones of my life—and for that, I will always be grateful 🤍
But there were moments in between those milestones that stayed with me.
The moments when I just wanted someone to talk to 🗣️
The moments when I wanted to cry, to vent, magsumbong kapag pagod na pagod na ako 😔
The moments when I needed emotional presence—not just provision.
Those experiences shaped me deeply as a parent.
Because I don’t want that same distance to exist between me and my children.
Together with my hubby, we are raising our family the best way we know how 💑
Hindi kami perfect na parents—but we are trying.
We are learning 📖
We are choosing to be intentional every single day ✨
And above all, we are doing our best to center our family on God, trusting Him to guide us where we fall short 🙏
That’s why working from home is more than just a job for me—it’s a privilege from God 🏡✨
Being a VA allows me to earn while staying present 💻
To support my family while being emotionally available 🤍
To show up as a wife and a mother—not just a provider 👩💼➡️👩👧👦
To choose purpose over pressure, and faith over fear ✝️
Being part of Eliora, a space that encourages reflection, growth, and intentional living, reminded me that this journey is not just practical—it is purposeful and God-led 🌱
This journey reaffirmed a promise I made to myself—and to God:
✨ To be present
✨ To grow with humility and purpose
✨ To redefine success—not just by income, but by time, freedom, impact, and obedience to His calling ⏳🤍
This is why I continue to choose this path.
This is why I’m grateful to be a VA 💻✨
And this is why I’m committed to showing up—not just at work, but at home, every day, for the family God has entrusted to us 🤍🙏
