Have you tried this huge and loaded jumbo siopao of EmERALD Restaurant?
Tried it wayback😊 dahil may nagpatikim sa akin. Of course, di ko tatanggihan, siopao lover eh😍
Anyway, hindi ko sya naubos in one sitting down, na usually nagagawa ko lalo na if favorite ko. Ang laki naman kasi talaga!
Yung fillings nya na ground pork, salted eggs ,!chinese sausage and may nalasahan din akong bacon? satisfying and one is enough talaga😊
For some siguro, they would not love or dislike certain ingredients like yung shallots and spring onions, which are included in the filling, iba2 naman kasi tayo ng panlasa pero for me , okey sya😊
Yung sauce, seems unsual for me , but it really compliment the pao❤️

Kung ang adobo ay Pambansang ulam,
Pambansang handa naman ang menudo😊
Pero pano nga ba nagiging masarap ito?
Fresh meat dapat ,
Yung combination ng malambot na flavorful meat nito and yung pagka rich and savory tomato-based sauce😊 na syempre pag sinabing Filipino style, manamis namis ☺️And for me, one key factor ay yung paggamit ng "fattier" cuts of pork like kasim or liempo dahil it gives additional moisture.
Marinating it ahead of time makes it more tender and helps meat from drying out during cooking and definitely it increases the flavor!

And for me what is menudo without raisins😊
Eh Kinalakihan ko na yang Traditional ingredient na yan! at talaga namang it provides a subtle sweetness para ma balance yung savory at tangy flavor ng tomato based dish na to😍

What's for Monday?
Obvious naman diba😊
And yes, adding hotdogs in this dish
Extends the servings lalo sa sa mga handaan ,
Pambansang handa , ika nga😊
Aside from that, of course it provides or gives an added "smokey" flavor na nagko compliment dun sa tomato based nya.
Adds contrast to the other ingredients like the pork, meat ..
A fun ingredient as well for the kids😊
The typical Pinoy red hotdogs , just like with 😊
With its meaty and cheesy flavor,
Siguradong sauce pa lang, ulam na😊

Thankful they have this "big servings" of their Sulit Value meals. Priced @69.00 , mabubusog ka na talaga😊 Of course, I always pair it with their banana ang fresh pineapple juice❤️

It has a generous meaty fillings. First bite, laman agad...
Medyo sad lang sa flavor, medyo kulang sa spices like the ground pepper & powder seasoning to enhance the flavor
Ako kasi madalas kahit walang condiment like catsup, basta nalasahan ko na yung suppose to be lasa ng food ay okey na okey na sa akin😊
But would still give a good rating kasi these shanghai are well drained too
Satisying talaga ang first bite !
Laman agad and no need na ng extra tissue for the excess oil na tutulo from that bite😊❤️

Kahit na naka ilang rotations na sila ng staffs , still okey unlike their Balagtas branch wherein walking distance lang ako, " ma attitude" ang staffs and there are time that they are not properly equipped😞
