DLSU OVPF RELEASES ADVISORY ON UPDATED PAYMENT CHANNELS

The DLSU Office of the Vice President for Finance has announced today, April 30, the updated official payment channels for the university, effective Term 3, A.Y. 2024-2025.

Among the changes observed were the removal of Metrobank and Landbank as payment options and the inclusion of GCash and Maya as payment options via Dragonpay.

GHO-USTE-D THEM! 👻😶‍🌫️

With hearts on fire and grit in every swing, the DLSU Lady Spikers rose when it mattered most, securing the twice-to-beat advantage after a hard-fought win over longtime rivals, the UST Golden Tigresses in a gripping 3-1 battle (23-25, 25-20, 30-28, 29-27) today, April 30, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena!

The match was neck-and-neck throughout the showdown with both teams powering through the long and intense changes. Ultimately, the Green-and-White’s 20 blocks and will to win despite being down multiple times propelled them to their hard-earned victory.

The journey is far from over for the tenacious Green-blooded ladies. With eyes set on reclaiming the crown, the Lady Spikers return to the taraflex to face the UST Golden Tigresses once more for a spot in the finals on May 3, 6:00 PM, at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

The DLSU Lady Spikers (10-5) slayed and claimed the twice-to-beat advantage against the UST Golden Tigresses (9-6) in four thrilling sets (23-25, 25-20, 30-28, 29-27), today, April 30, at the Mall of Asia Arena!

With the twice-to-beat advantage now in the Lady Spikers' hands, their semi-final series will hold a higher favour against the same opponent, the UST Golden Tigresses, with the schedule to be announced.

YOU WIN SOME, YOU LOSE SOME 💚🏀

Polar opposite results for the Green-and-White athletes took place on the second day of the UAAP 3x3 Basketball tournament today, April 29, at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

The DLSU Green Archers were able to shift gears during day 2 of the tournament after catching a dry spell from their debut matches yesterday. With Animo spirit on full display, the resilient men from Taft showed sense of urgency, loudly embodiying the Green-and-White pride to ultimately silence the roars of the UST Growling tigers with a final score of 22-10.

Meanwhile, the DLSU Lady Archers fell short in sparking up a winning streak as they found themselves on the bitter side of the court, succumbing to the prowess of the UST Growling Tigresses with the bout ending in a result of 13-20.

With minds equipped with learnings from their previous games and hearts eager to rack up more wins, action resumes for both teams against the FEU Tamaraws on May 1. The Green-blooded men will be the first to enter the court at 1:20 PM, while Taft’s fiercest ladies take center stage at 2:40 PM at the same venue.

NCAA Juniors division standout and Benilde-LSGH Greenie Guillian Quines is set to play for the DLSU Green Archers!

Impressing scouts throughout the season, Quines bagged an average of 27.3 points during the junior league's finals series. The eighteen-year-old guard's excellent scoring, leadership, and composure under pressure is expected to greatly contribute to the Green Archers' quest of aiming for more UAAP championship titles!

ON TO THE FINAL SWING 😍🥎

It was no easy feat for the DLSU Green Batters as they clinched a spot in the finals after a hard-fought 6-5 win over the UST Golden Sox in the UAAP Season 87 Baseball semifinals today, April 29 at Rizal Memorial Stadium!

The game was neck and neck early on, but the Tigers came alive in the 9th to tie it up and push the game into extra innings. The standoff lasted through the 10th, but the Green Batters tightened their defense and came through with a clutch run in the 11th, ultimately swinging their way to glory.

The battle only heats up from here as the Green-and-White are set to take on the defending champions NU Bulldogs in the finals with the schedule yet to be announced.
