PROTESTORS AMASS AT LUNETA PARK FOR BONIFACIO DAY

The “Baha sa Luneta 2.0” rally brought together students, youth alliances, and progressive groups at Luneta Park today, November 30, in commemoration of the 162nd birth anniversary of national hero Andres Bonifacio.

Organized and led by Kilusang Bayan Kontra Kurakot, the movement sought to call out rampant corruption and address unresolved cases of graft and plunder, honoring Bonifacio’s enduring legacy of defiance against oppression.

Despite a 90-minute delay due to the “no permit, no rally” rule enforced by the Philippine National Police, attendees persisted and proceeded with the program.
