POPE JOHN PAUL II; 1995 WORLD YOUTH DAY COMMEMORATIVE COIN.

Ang 1995 World Youth Day Commemorative Coin (opisyal na tinutukoy bilang medalya) ay ginawa ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) upang ipagdiwang ang pagbisita ni Pope John Paul II sa Manila para sa ika-10 World Youth Day.

Mga Detalye ng Disenyo:

👉Harap (Obverse): Makikita ang profile o mukha ni Pope John Paul II na nakaharap sa kaliwa. Nakasulat dito ang mga katagang "PAPAL VISIT '95", "POPE JOHN PAUL II", at ang tema na "AS THE FATHER SENT ME, SO AM I SENDING YOU".

👉Likod (Reverse): Tampok ang opisyal na logo ng World Youth Day 1995 na may disenyong krus at bangka. Nakasaad din ang "10th WORLD YOUTH DAY", "Manila, Philippines", at ang petsang "10-15 January 1995"

NEW RELEASE: 10 PISO ASEAN PHILIPPINES 2026 COMMEMORATIVE COIN

To mark the Philippines’ Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2026, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) launched this circulating commemorative coin carrying the theme:

“Navigating our Future, Together.”


Physical Specifications

- Composition: Nickel-plated Steel
- Weight: 8 grams
- Diameter: 27 mm
- Thickness: 2.05 mm
- Edge: Milled with lettering “Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas”


Design Overview

Obverse (Front)
Features the bust of Apolinario Mabini, along with the denomination “10 PISO”, year “2026”, and mint mark. Set against a microtext background of “REPUBLIKA NG PILIPINAS”.

Reverse (Back)
