Day 16 of 90 No Cheat Meals on Low Carb 👀

I finally broke my stall today and hit 60.85 🙌

For todays meals i just had breakfast, lunch and snack, wasnt too hungry for dinner so i just decided to skip it tonight

Low carb has been a game changer for me, especially losing the initial 20kg. I sleep better now, lower sugar, lower bp and overall i just feel great.

My goal is still the same - weigh 50kg in 90 days.

Remember when we were told to eat egg whites and throw away the yolks? 🥚

For years, eggs were blamed for heart disease because of their cholesterol content.

But nutrition science has evolved.

A large study involving more than 500,000 adults found that people who ate eggs daily had a lower risk of cardiovascular disease compared to those who rarely ate eggs.

Daily egg consumption was also associated with a lower risk of cardiovascular-related death and stroke.

It’s a good reminder that nutrition advice changes, and sometimes whole foods get unfairly blamed.

For me, eggs have been one of the staple foods throughout my low-carb journey from 80kg to 61kg.

Do you eat the whole egg or just the whites? 🥚👇

Objective To examine the associations between egg consumption and cardiovascular disease (CVD), ischaemic heart disease (IHD), major coronary events (MCE), haemorrhagic stroke as well as ischaemic stroke. Methods During 2004–2008, over 0.5 million adults aged 30–79 years were recruited from 10...

Day 15 of 90 — No Cheat Meals on Low Carb 👀

Today’s weigh-in: 61.65kg 😩

Not going to lie… this stall is driving me a little crazy.

I’m keeping my carbs super low, staying consistent, and doing all the things I’m supposed to be doing, yet the scale decided to move up today 😩

Regardless, I’m still down 2.4kg since Day 1, so I’m trying not to let it ruin my mindset.

For lunch, I ate out at Ooma and chose a low-carb option:

Garlic Steak on cauliflower mash and miso soup

For dinner, I made my keto lasagna:

🥬 Cabbage noodles
🥩 Ground beef
🍅 Salsa
🧀 Mozzarella cheese

Then I finished the day with another 30-minute sauna session

At this point, there are only two options: Quit or Keep going

And I’m definitely not quitting.

My goal is still 50kg by Day 90. 🎯

Day 16 tomorrow.

Hopefully the scale starts cooperating again. 😅

Day 14 of 90 — No Cheat Meals on Low Carb 👀

Today’s weigh-in: 61.35kg

I’ve been stuck in the 61kg range for a while now. I’m not going to lie, it’s a little frustrating. 😩

I was hoping to see the scale move faster, but I’ve been here before and I know there are no shortcuts. The only option is to keep going.

Not every week is a big drop on the scale. Sometimes the biggest challenge is staying consistent when it feels like nothing is happening.

My goal is still the same: 50kg by the end of this 90-day challenge. 💪

I think it’s time to level things up. I’ve decided to start incorporating weight training and aim for an hour of exercise each day to see if I can get things moving again.

The truth is, stalls are part of the journey. What matters is what you do next.

Do you quit? Or do you keep showing up?

I’m choosing to keep showing up.

Have you ever hit a weight-loss stall before? What helped you break through it? Let me know below

Day 15 goes live tomorrow at 7pm.

low carb has done more for me than just help me lose weight. ❤️

today’s blood sugar reading is 87 mg/dL

a year ago, i was heading down a path that honestly worried me… my blood sugar wasn’t where i wanted it to be, i was carrying extra weight, and i constantly felt tired, hungry, and bloated.

almost a year into my low carb journey and i’ve seen improvements not just on the scale, but in my overall health.

- almost 20kg lost
- better blood sugar
- better blood pressure
- more stable energy
- fewer cravings

this is why i continue to eat this way, everyday. low carb was never just about losing weight, it was about getting healthier and feeling better.

have you noticed any health improvements since changing the way you eat? 👇
