MISS EARTH 2024 SCOOP: HERITAGE AT ITS BEST

The Miss Earth 2024 edition will kick off in Manila with its opening event on October 23 Wednesday.

Instead of the usual press presentation with the candidates in swimwear, this year the first event will be THE MISS EARTH 2024 WELCOME GALA FASHION SHOW.

The candidates will be presented to members of the press in a couture fashion show, featuring the creations of 23 Filipino designers using Philippine indigenous fabrics from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The event is in partnership with the Designers Circle Philippines, with DCP in talks with the National Commission on Culture & the Arts (NCCA) and National Commission on Indigenous Peoples(NCIP) for possible collaboration.

Full details of the production will be unveiled in the coming weeks, but it is sure to be different from the previous years, with Miss Earth highlighting its theme of HERITAGE in the best and most authentic way possible.
