What an ๐™–๐™ข๐™–๐™ฏ๐™„๐™€๐™ฃ๐™œ start!

With exciting plans and events for the Adamson IE community, the newly appointed Board of Directors and External Ambassadors of the PIIE-ORSP Adamson University Chapter successfully presented the Operational Plan for A.Y. 2025-2026 to Ms. Jannica Catle, the Student Development Coordinator of Office for Student Affairs, on Friday, August 29, 2025.

A dedicated team of individuals collaborated together to make this presentation a successโ€”headed by Dhennise B. Maala, VP-External Affairs; Renzhoe Enrico P. Carpio, VP-Internal Affairs; and Althea Julliene L. Petallo, Treasurer.

Get ready to embrace new knowledge, elevate your skills, and fuel your passion as we enter this era ๐Ÿ’ซ Surely, we have a lot in store for you! โœจ

On October 16, 2024, the Industrial Engineering (IE) Department of Adamson University capped off a day of academic events with a lively and creative General Assembly (G.A.). The General Assembly was organized to provide a break from the day's academic sessions and to bring together the students and faculty of the IE department in a spirit of camaraderie and relaxation.

One of the most anticipated activities of the night was Dress to Impress (DTI), where participants showcased their unique style and creativity by dressing according to the Roblox theme. Students put their best foot forward, sporting colorful and imaginative outfits that lit up the room with fun and excitement.

The participation of the departmentโ€™s esteemed professors added a special touch to the G.A. It was a delightful and heartwarming sight to see the faculty members join in the fun alongside their students.

On October 16, 2024, the Industrial Engineering (IE) Department at Adamson University held an enlightening academic event, focusing on key values in the profession and addressing some of the unique challenges that future IEs will face. The keynote speaker, Engr. Advisio, shared an impactful message on the value of time in the hands of Industrial Engineers. โ€œOptimize our time in our hands as an IE; time is important to us,โ€ he said, reminding attendees of the crucial role that time plays in achieving productivity and operational success.

Industrial Engineers, he noted, are the โ€œarchitects of efficiencyโ€ and play a pivotal role in driving change and fostering innovation in various sectors.

One of the most compelling moments of the event came during a Q&A session when a student posed a significant question: โ€œAs IEs, we're often seen as jack of all trades, master of all. How do we manage the overwhelming feeling that comes with this?โ€

Sir Advisio responded with encouragement, highlighting the broad skill set that Industrial Engineers possess. โ€œWe should have confidence to do something because we are IEs who make things, improve processes, and we can do many jobs in many fields,โ€ he said.

Doc. Quevedo, a faculty member in the IE department and the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Adamson University, provided her own insight. โ€œIn reality, that is our advantage,โ€ she began. โ€œWe can navigate our profession in health systems, banking systems, food manufacturing, and almost every field because we deal with systems and processes. We are dynamic.โ€ Her words reassured students that being a โ€œjack of all tradesโ€ is not a limitation but a powerful asset. โ€œPlease donโ€™t despair when people say youโ€™re a jack of all trades. No, you are an expert in all fields. Be proud of that.โ€

In a recent election held by PIIE-ORSP AdU Chapter from June 6 to 10, students exercised their right to vote for the future leaders of the organization. Candidates representing various partylist showcased their dedication, passion and commitment to serving their fellow students. Their campaign efforts encompassed a wide range of ideas.

Each partylist produced impressive publication materials that highlighted their unique platforms and vision for the future. Through rigorous campaigning and persuasive communication, they left no stone unturned to convince voters of their worthiness.

Today, we congratulate the winners of this election, who emerged victorious due to their compelling campaign efforts and the trust placed in them by their fellow students. It is now their responsibility to transform their campaign promises into tangible actions, demonstrating their commitment to result-driven and servant leadership.

With the utmost dedication and hard work, we hope the newly elected student organization officers will deliver on their pledges and effectively address the concerns and needs of the student community. By embracing a holistic approach, they can ensure the overall growth and well-being of the student body.

As the new student organization officers embark on their journey, we wish them success in their endeavors. May they serve with dedication, passion, and integrity, continuously striving to make a positive impact on the lives of their constituents. We look forward to witnessing their achievements and the positive changes they bring to the PIIE-ORSP AdU Chapter organization.

CONGRATULATION once again to the newly elected student organization officers, and may their term be filled with purpose, progress, and fulfillment.
