Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un!
We are deeply grieved by the passing of Dr. Norma Mangondato Sharief, who departed this world while performing Umrah in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. As we mourn her loss, we find comfort in the words of the Holy Qurβan: βIndeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.β
Dr. Sharief was a retired Managing Director and Commissioner II of CHED (ARMM/BARMM), known for her unwavering dedication, compassion, and wisdom. She was a pillar of knowledge and integrity, whose kindness and guidance profoundly impacted countless lives.
Her steadfast support for higher education institutions in BARMM, including Iqra Development Academy, remains a testament to her legacy. Her invaluable contributions and commitment have left an indelible mark, inspiring future generations.
In this time of sorrow, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones. May Allah grant them patience and strength during this difficult time. We pray that Allah showers Dr. Sharief with His infinite mercy, forgives her sins, and grants her the highest place in Jannah.
