MSIA 19th Founding Anniversary | Coordination & Planning Meeting
Alhamdulillah!
Miftahus Salam Integrated Academy, Inc. (MSIA) successfully conducted its Coordination and Planning Meeting for the upcoming 19th Founding Anniversary, bringing together members of the administration, teaching force, department representatives, and student leaders to ensure that the celebration will be well-planned, organized, inclusive, and financially responsible.
The meeting emphasized that a successful foundation day celebration is not only about preparing exciting activities—it also requires proper planning, risk management, transparent budgeting, and meaningful coordination among all stakeholders.
Importance of Risk Management
One of the important matters discussed was the importance of risk management in the preparation and implementation of the Foundation Day activities.
With various activities involving learners, teachers, staff, and guests, the school recognizes the need to anticipate possible risks and establish appropriate preventive measures. These may include considerations on student safety and security, crowd management, venue preparation, transportation, weather conditions, emergency situations, medical concerns, equipment and facilities, financial risks, and the overall smooth flow of activities.
Risk management allows the organizing team to identify possible problems before they happen, prepare appropriate contingency measures, and ensure that every activity is conducted in a safe, orderly, and responsible manner.
The goal is to make the celebration enjoyable while keeping the safety, welfare, and protection of every member of the MSIA community at the forefront.
Budget Proposal for Foundation Day
The meeting also tackled the proposed budget for the Foundation Day celebration.
The proposed expenses and financial requirements were carefully discussed to determine the resources needed for the different activities and components of the celebration. The discussion highlighted the importance of having a realistic, organized, and transparent budget that considers the school's available resources while ensuring that planned activities remain meaningful and manageable.
Every proposed expense should serve a clear purpose and contribute to the successful implementation of the anniversary activities. Through proper budgeting, the school can minimize unnecessary expenditures, avoid unexpected financial burdens, and ensure that available resources are utilized responsibly.
Finalization of Student Contribution & New House T-Shirt Uniform
Another significant matter discussed was the finalization of the proposed student contribution related to the Foundation Day activities and the new edition of the House T-Shirt uniform.
The new House T-Shirt is envisioned not only as part of the celebration but also as a symbol of house identity, camaraderie, teamwork, and school spirit among learners.
The discussion focused on arriving at a contribution that is reasonable, clearly communicated, and properly accounted for, while taking into consideration the needs and circumstances of students and their families.
The final details regarding the contribution, design, specifications, distribution, and other related arrangements will be properly communicated once finalized and approved through the appropriate school processes.
