The Provincial Election Supervisor in Lanao del Sur is exerting all efforts to oust a member of the Board of Canvassers in Marawi City and install a certain Mrs. Anna Zenaida Unte-Alonto in an apparent violation of the Election Rules. Reports says Mrs. Unte-Alonto did not qualify the position in the Comelec Board for having close affinity with many candidates to the regional and provincial positions. Her forcible entry to the Board is tainted with partisan politics aside from her having a standing warrant of arrest for graft cases at the Regional Trial Court. According to evidence sent by DepEd Supt Mona Macatanong, Mrs. Unte-Alonto is a close relative of ARMM Regional Vice Governor Al-Rashid Alonto Lucman, ARMM Assemblyman Zia Alonto Adiong, Congressman Ansaruddin Alonto Adiong, Bae Soraya Alonto Adiong and Governor Mamintal Bombit Alonto Adiong. https://www.facebook.com/MonaWatch/posts/1731437917143209

TEACHERS VOW TO DISMANTLE VOTE BUYING MACHINE IN THE ARMM - Governor of the Autonomous Region Mujiv Hataman is now facing disqualification for violations of the Election Rules.
