Khwarizmians aspiring to be part of the school’s varsity club undergo rigorous training and drill exercises after school hours at the gymnasium with the supervision of the varsity club coaches.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗘 𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

In anticipation of tomorrow’s Supreme Student Council (SSC) elections, RC AKIC-SLS held its annual Miting de Avance earlier today. Junior High School students were excused from afternoon classes to witness the event, which served as a formal platform for all running candidates to speak, answer, and be heard.

Two partylists—Hiraya and Liwanag—each presented one candidate per section. Standing under the spotlight at center stage, each contender was given two minutes to answer one question posed by a panel of respected figures: our respected teachers and faculty members, Former Prime Minister Amerhussein M. Dimal, 2024 Prime Minister Candidate Zahra Tanog, and 2024 Lakambini Alayza Sacampong. Prime Minister hopefuls were challenged further, answering three questions in total and proposing platforms—ideas for what they wanted to improve or introduce to the school—which they then defended by explaining how they would carry them out.

As each student stepped up to the podium, the Khwarizmian crowd responded with unstoppable spirit as they held up tarpaulins, called out names, and cheered loudly for their classmates and partylist of choice. It was a scene of color, energy, and genuine support—a reminder that at AKIC-SLS, leadership isn’t just about the few on stage, but the many who believe in them.

The light now turns to you, dear voter. Remember to vote for the one who carries your hope.

‎Ipinagdiwang ng RC - AKIC SLS ang Buwan ng Wika ngayong Hulyo 30 at 31, 2025. Layunin ng programang ito na ipakita ang kahalagahan ng wikang Filipino at kulturang Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang aktibidad.
‎
‎Isa sa mga tampok ng pagdiriwang ay ang Lakambini, isang patimpalak na nagpapakita ng talino, talento, at ganda ng mga piling mag-aaral mula elementarya at high school.
‎
‎Sinimulan ang programa sa gymnasium sa pamamagitan ng panalangin at mga intermission number mula sa preschool hanggang Grade 3. Pagkatapos nito, ipinakilala ang mga hurado at ipinalabas ang mga video transformation mula sa 6-Einsteinium at 9-Topaz.
‎
‎Sumunod ang pagrampa ng mga kandidato. Suot ng elementarya ang kasuotang etniko (6-Einsteinium), habang kasuotang pang-Engkantadia naman ang para sa high school (9-Pearl).
‎
‎Pagkatapos ng lunch break, nagbalik ang mga mag-aaral para sa Q&A portion. Nanguna rito ang 4-Thallium para sa elementarya at 10-Onyx para sa high school. Ipinakilala rin ang dating Lakambini champion bago ipahayag ang mga nanalo.
