PRESSING FORWARD

Heavenly Father, I renounce worldly distractions, focusing on what is good for my soul.
Eternal fellowship with Jesus Christ is my passion and lifetime goal.

Strengthen me to overcome all of my trials and tribulations.
My heavenly home awaits me, a place of everlasting celebration.

With a laser like focus on holiness, I separate myself from sin.
The Christian race requires discipline, a race I must win.

The prize of eternal life is my daily encouragement and motivation.
I depend on your power since you are the author of all creation.

Father, give me the discipline that I need for Bible study and prayer.
You are faithful to hear my request and to always be there.

In Jesus Christ's Mighty Name, I pray, Amen.
