I used to deny my greatness too.
I used to believe I wasn’t capable.

I used to dim my own light
just so I wouldn’t offend or outshine someone else.

But I realized... I can’t do that anymore.
It’s now my duty to share the light I’ve been given.

And maybe you’re someone who’s been doing the same...
hiding your light, or shrinking your presence.

But I want to tell you this:
Your light shines, even when you try to hide it. :)

Your smile lights up a room.
Your words uplift others.
Your energy draws people in.
Your presence warms any space you're in.

Can’t you see?

You can inspire. You can give value.
You can help. You can support.
You can give. You can share.

Because you have always been:

WORTHY.
CAPABLE.
WHOLE.

So take this moment to appreciate you.
See the light others already see in you.

And now, start sharing that light,
so the world can be just a little brighter and a whole lot happier. :)

Allow people. ‘Wag kang corny at KJ.
Allow people to be, to do, or to have.
Allow people to express; their thoughts, opinions, experiences, stories.
Allow people to take up space.
To just live their life. To serve their purpose here.

Instead of ceasing them or shutting them off, killing their excitement and passion,
Or maybe disregarding what they have to say or contribute,
Or even putting them down without considering them..

JUST. ALLOW. THEM.

Because when someone is passionate,
They feel most alive and happy and excited.

And there’s something sacred about that fire.
So don’t be the one to dim it.

You don’t EVEN have to agree with everything.
You don’t even have to like it or them.

But at the very least just respect their existence.
And honor their voice too.

Dahil minsan, the best thing we can give someone is not our advice or opinion, it’s simply SPACE.

Space to be seen.
Space to be heard.
Space to become.

This world doesn’t need more critics.
It needs more encouragers.

People who choose to hold space instead of judgment.
People who choose to believe in others bago pa sila maniwala sa sarili nila.

So.. just be that. :)

I used to believe I’m not a good host.
"I’m not cut out for this."
"A lot of hosts out there are better than me."

But I realized it was only because I kept looking at others.
I forgot to look at me.
I forgot to look at my own greatness.
I focused on what I didn’t have, instead of focusing on who I really am.

Tbh, I almost gave up on hosting, or just holding the mic in general.
Literally.
There was even a time na I would shake just by grabbing the mic…
Even after years of experience.

As I thought I was done with this career,
because i want to shift to a different one, which was my contribution and purpose work..

And because I was shut down of a while..
Because indeed, holding the mic comes with a bigger responsibility.

Not until lately, I’m starting to go back to this passion of mine
and as I do,
Expecting nothing and detaching from any outcome,
I am, once again, being tapped in the back for doing an excellent job.
With preparations or not.

I’m starting to gain my confidence back.
Yep. Believe it or not — especially those who know me personally,
I lost that for a while.
And honestly, sometimes til now, I still do.

But now, I am learning to forgive myself for being too hard on me,
I am learning that I am not my past,
and I am learning that I am capable. So much capable..

So… I’m here to remind you of that, too:
YOU ARE CAPABLE. YOU ARE WORTHY. YOU MATTER. 🩷

You may have made mistakes.
You may have made wrong choices.
You may have done things you regret…

But you are not a BAD PERSON.

So whatever passion it is that you have,
Go back honeyyy! Without guilt, or shame around it..

I know your body has been craving to do it.
And definitely, I know… your soul longs for it too.

“How willing are you?”
This was the question I used to ask myself.

But now I realize I have always been willing, I just don’t decide.

And then I figured out that willingness is just desire.
And readiness is decision.

So I asked myself instead,
“How ready are you”

To do something new?
To do something scary?
To take the leap?
To say yes?

How ready are you…
To step into your greatness?
To shine your light?
To do your passion?
To hold space for others?

And I realized, I’ve been preparing for too long.

Now it’s time to take the opportunities.
Because they’re already here.

And even in the process, I thought I was failing, but turns out I’m just making stories and excuses in my head.

What’s the worst that could happen? Nothing.

It can even turn out to be the best one yet. Or not, who knows?

But still,
Do it.
Do it scared.
Do it unsure.

But do it with love.
Do it with preparation.
Do it with genuine intention.
Do it with purpose.
Do it with passion.

And you will never go wrong.

I’m glad I said yes to this.
I showed up.
I went full out and with passion. 🩷
