For very few times in over the previous years, all five members of the popular rock band TEETH would suit up on stage and it would be an instant reunion classic.

While they are celebrating a milestone year with a 5-leg tour and a vinyl release of their greatest hits in 2026, I took a look back at the one and only time I've seen this quintet of legendary rockstars inside 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub when they were still located inside El Pueblo in Ortigas Center as they headlined a rare 90s-Music-only live show back in late 2018.

What a night to remember, I must say.

August 27, 2016 is probably the last date to remember for me during this month 10 years ago for two sole reasons:

1. It was my first time to go to one of the hailed as one of the holy grails of the Manila live music circuit that is 19 East; and
2. It was also the first time to watch Truefaith, one of the music bands of my generation.

It was a rocking and illuminating Friday night on this day exactly 10 years ago, as Sponge Cola had its double EP launch party for SINAG and TALA inside Teatrino at Prominade Greenhills in San Juan City.

It was a long yet intimating concert for hundreds of fans inside this venue as one of the famed OPM bands of the 2000s flaunted their then-new songs like Pag-ibig, Bahaghari, and Butterflies, along with their usual classics in a rare special arrangement.

Covered this event for Gigs Manila.

ODDISEE was supposed to take place by around noon or after lunch, but the heavy rainfall by the morning delayed everything and the music festival started at 5pm. I can't remember if they ended up around 2-ish am. Nevertheless, it delivered.

Meanwhile, here's some of the snaps I took during the sets of Dayaw, Carousel Casualties, Basically Saturday Night, and The Metro Fantastic.
