A new chapter unfolds: SMSM dedicates opening prog to welcome AY. 2025-2026

The warmth of welcome filled the St. Michael School of Marilao (SMSM) on the 4th of July. The school year 2025-2026 began with a special opening program, a moment of reflection and community building for students. This year holds even more significance with the addition of new students to the Michaelinian family.

On this day, Michaelinians witnessed the joyful reunion of returning students and the enthusiastic arrival of new faces. The program started with the words of the Principal and Directress, Mrs. Teodora R. Santos as she happily took the students back to where the institution started 40 years ago. She also did not forget to commemorate the late founder, Mr. Romeo C. Santos and the legacy he was able to build in his 10-year service.

The school then buzzed with energy as students, both old and new, enjoyed the intermission numbers that were prepared by the students coming from the Grade 7 students, transferees from the Junior and Senior High School Departments and homegrown performers. The opening program served as a unifying event, bringing everyone together in shared anticipation for the year ahead.

The day was a testament to the vibrant spirit of SMSM and the promise of a successful and fulfilling school year. May this year be filled with blessings and academic achievement for all!

SMSM welcomes back Michaelinians for another fruitful acad journey

On the 23rd of June 2025, the Michaelinian community has finally set off for the start of the academic year 2025-2026. As early as 7 in the morning, the school’s quadrangle was filled with the students’ excitement to step on their forthcoming journeys with new faces and new environments. Both the new and former students were warmly welcomed by their fellow classmates and faculty members, offering hospitality and friendship to each other. The flag ceremony was soon held inside the respective classrooms from the pre-school level to the Senior High School level.

Within the four walls of the classrooms were different methods of getting to know each student, teachers, and the campus itself. Introduction of oneself, learning about their goals and expectations, discussion of the school’s rules and regulations, and even short games to improve the closeness of the learners and develop new friendships.

The day was soon concluded with smiles on everyone’s faces, new people to call as friends, and a fired passion to aim higher and to persevere for what is about to come in the next days of the school year.
