I've seen a lot of people commenting "Ano po ba yung mga trabaho ng Virtual Assistant?" because some people think that being a VA is just about doing back-end work or data admin jobs.

There are several tasks that a VA does in her/his daily work and the top 5 of VA jobs are:

The power of "always update your profile and let your job proposal do the work" ๐Ÿช„

To be honest, hindi ko masyado nirerecommend si Upwork for beginners. Why?

1. You have to have connects to send proposal na dapat mong bilhin muna.

2. Most of the clients here will check your Upwork profile so kung wala ka masyadong credentials, proof or history of work experience, mababa ang chance.

Although upwork gives free connects monthly, hindi sya enough kung gusto mong marami kang maapplyan. You have to use you 'connects' here wisely kung aasa ka lang sa free.

But, most of the clients here din ay mas mataas ang offer. Mas hindi ka din kababahan kasi alam mong alam din ni upwork kung sino ang mga clients (though di nawawala ang mga scammers)

And di rin masamang i-try. Creating account here is FREE so go and create your profile, browse jobs and send proposal! ๐Ÿ™Œ

โ€œWhat Virtual Assistant Job/Role is for me?โ€

Kung matagal mo nang gusto maging VA pero hindi ka pa rin sigurado kung ano ba talaga ang para sayo, listen.

Una mong alamin yung strength and weakness mo related sa pag provide ng VA services. Rather than focusing sa isang niche, first mong gawin is alamin mo muna ang ibaโ€™t ibang klase ng VA Rolesโ€” marami yan.

Mayroong customer service, executive assistants, lead generation specialist, social media management, bookkeeper at marami pang iba. Manood ka muna ng ibaโ€™t ibang VA niche and alamin mo alin doon ang pasok sa skills mo, sa knowledge mo or passion at tingin mong maeenjoy mong aralin/trabahuhin. Tsaka ka na mag focus sa sahod. Madali na sumahod ng malaki pag alam mo na ang expertise mo.

Next, pag nakapag decide ka na ano bang niche ang gusto mong gawin, mag start ka na manood ng mga basic tutorial. Know the terms, job description, common tools at iba pa para mas mabilis kang maka adapt. If you have the money to enroll para sa course, mas better.

That is an investment, not just an expense.

And donโ€™t forget to apply kung ano man ang mga natutunan mo. Practice and donโ€™t stop learning. Sa VA/Freelancing World, the more skills you have, more opportunities for you.

I always get this kind of questionโ€” which I totally understand kasi Iโ€™ve been there.

And because of that, nakita and narealize ko din kung saan pala ako nagkulang or nagkamali nung nag sstart pa lang ako. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Aspiring VAs often left a comment sa mga VA jobs ng โ€œinterestedโ€ โ€œhow toโ€ โ€œme poโ€ kahit na yung post is just a โ€œTips and Guideโ€

First, learn or practice to be detail-oriented. Sobrang importante nito dahil clients will trust you with almost everything. Kung hindi ka nag ttake ng time to understand what youโ€™re reading, thatโ€™s already a red flag.

Second, hindi lahat ng VA job is for you. Iโ€™m not saying na hindi ka magaling. But know your own skills first. Karamihan pag ang post is sharing their wins like salary sobrang daming naeengganyo and gusto agad applyan yung โ€˜VA Jobโ€™ na gaya nung nag post. No, alamin mo muna ano talaga ang gusto mong gawin, ano ang kaya mong iooffer na confident kang kaya mong maibigay yung results na hahanapin sayo ng client mo.

Next, be RESOURCEFUL. Yung iba naka share na yung link ng JobOpp, or nakalagay na sa video, mag cocomment pa rin ng โ€œpasend po linkโ€ If you want to learn, you can enroll sa mga VA course or mag self study ka. Sobrang helpful rin ng nga nasa Youtube University naten, Tiktok and FB Page although having a coach means having a support and guide.

Last, practice and practice. Focus ka sa goals mo na matuto and keep on watching inspiring stories para mas mamotivate kang matuto.

Being a Virtual Assistant is not easy. But I would say na very rewarding. ๐Ÿ˜‰
