Just this year, I was following a lot of social media marketing gurus on Instagram when I stumbled upon a page with a little following but a huge tremendous engagement rate.

I checked her stories, and one of them was market research on the influence of "aesthetically-pleasing" feed on the buying habit of consumers.

Cheers to a dream come true!🎉

I have always dreamed to have a small agency and today marks the first step toward that goal!

Business has always a special spot in my heart. Ever since I was a kid, I already had an entrepreneurial mindset. I sold candies during recess when I was in 2nd - 3rd grade.

Fast forward.

Last year, when I booked three clients in a month, I decided to invest in another business which is my travel and tours agency while being a hands-on social media manager + brand strategist.

I hired my sister and her friend as part of my little team and everything goes smoothly until...

I have to focus on my studies.

It was heartbreaking. I have to drop two clients of mine and stick with only two.

In my mind, I didn't want to study anymore. I wanted to work on my business and start my empire.

Yet, I have to weigh the situation and I came up with the decision to focus on my studies first. I was in my 4th year at that time and doing my thesis. It was the right decision back then.

Now, I'm finally graduating at the end of July. And I am a proud solopreneur for my social media marketing agency, Socials by Kate.

These tips changed how I do things!✨

When I started as a social media manager, I had no idea what I was doing. I only post content, follow people, and pray that my audience will follow me back -- that's it! I am a lost lamb.

After various online courses and training + networking with other online service providers, I discovered the secret recipe to making a prosperous business page on Instagram. But, since I'm exposing them to you today, they are no longer a secret!

However, I have to remind you. These tips don't work overnight, and they only work with two things: consistency + discipline.

Be consistent with what you do. You might not see the result immediately, but don't give up. Keep doing it.

Be disciplined. All your hard work + sacrifices will pay off. I know it is tough + tiring to follow the rules, but you've got this! Believe in yourself.
