𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗠 𝗡𝗜𝗬𝗢 𝗕𝗔?
‎
‎Ang Super Typhoon ay ang pinakamataas na klasipikasyon ng bagyo. Ito ay may 185 kilometers per hour (kph) pataas.
‎
‎Maaaring magdulot ang Super Typhoon ng matinding pagbaha sa mga lalawigang tatamaan nito. Magdudulot din ito ng pagkawala ng buhay at pagkasira ng mga tahanan at imprastraktura. Maaari itong maging sanhi ng Storm Surge kung saan ang abnormal na pagtaas ng tubig sa dagat ay humahagupit sa baybayin, na nagiging sanhi ng matinding pinsala at pagkamatay.

‎Isang halimbawa na lamang ay ang Super Typhoon Yolanda. Tumama ito sa Pilipinas noong Nobyembre 8, 2013. Ito ay may lakas ng hangin na 314 kph at umabot sa Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 5. Halos 16 milyong Pilipino ang naapektuhan ng Super typhoon na ito at 6,300 ang tinatayang namatay dahil dito.

‎Maraming tao ang nawalan ng pamilya, kabuhayan, at tahanan dahil sa Super Typhoon Yolanda. Marami ang tumangis at marami ang nagluksa sa panahon na iyon. Isang tanong ang nasa kanilang isip, "Paano kami babangon?". Ito ang naging dahilan kung bakit naitala ito bilang isa sa Deadliest Super Typhoon in the history.

Ang nangyaring ito ay nagpapaalala lamang ng kahalagahan ng pagiging handa at mabilis na pagtugon sa mga sakuna.

‎Ngayon, isang super typhoon ang nakapasok na sa ating bansa.
‎
‎Kaya ugaliing maging handa at alerto sa banta ng bagyo. Tandaan, ligtas ang may alam.

𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | Prioritizing Safety as Bataan Faces Storm-Force Winds from Typhoon Uwang (FUNG-WONG)

Bataan is now under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 3. Storm-force winds are expected with 18-hours lead time. Residents are advised to stay indoors and follow all safety precautions.

Heavy rains, strong winds, and possible flooding in low-lying areas and landslides may occur. The public is urged to remain alert and prepared, and to follow instructions from local authorities in case of emergencies.

‎𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | Prioritizing Safety as Severe Tropical Storm FUNG-WONG (pre-UWAN) enter PAR
‎
‎The DOST-PAGASA declared FUNG-WONG (pre-UWAN) as a Severe Tropical Storm on its latest report. It is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on November 8, Saturday afternoon to November 9, Sunday morning.
‎
‎According to the Weather Advisory No. 3 that was issued this 5pm, Bataan will experience orange rainfall level (100-200mm) from Sunday afternoon to Monday afternoon that has possible flooding in low lying areas. Landslides are also expected.
‎
‎It is important for us to keep safe at times like this, let us all be prepared and alert.
‎

‎Ang Bagyong Tino na dumaan sa Cebu ay nag-iwan ng malaking pinsala at trahedya, higit sa lahat dahil sa pagpalya ng mga flood control projects na dapat sana’y nagsilbing panangga sa mga mamamayan. Bilyon-bilyong piso ang inilaan sa mga flood control infrastructure, ngunit marami sa mga ito ay substandard. Sa halip na magbigay-proteksyon, lalo pang nagdulot ng hirap sa mga tao. Sa halip na maging kalasag, sila pa ang naging dahilan ng paglala ng sakuna.

‎Maraming pamilya ang napilitang umakyat sa mga bubong at humingi ng tulong habang nilulubog ng baha ang kanilang mga tahanan, samantalang ang mga mandarambong ay mahimbing ang tulog sa kani-kanilang mansyon. Halos isang daang katao ang nasawi at marami pa ang nawawala; karamihan ay nalunod dahil sa biglaang pagbaha. Totoo namang malakas ang ulan at hanging dala ng bagyo, ngunit isa sa may pinakamalaking pananagutan sa trahedyang ito ay kayo—kayong mga makasariling inuuna ang pansariling interes. Kayo ang tunay na traydor sa bayan.
