𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 | PUP Mariveles Campus Celebrates Beauty and Intellect in Ms. Q&A: InterTALAKtik KWEEN 2025 Coronation
Six stunning queens proudly represent their respective councils in the Ms. Q&A: Intertalaktik Kween of PUP Mariveles 2025 at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Bataan Campus covered court on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
Candidate #1, Jonald Villa from the PIIE PUP-Bataan Student Chapter (PIIE). Candidate #2, Audrey Zuñega Indoy from the PUP-Bataan YEC (YEC). Candidate #3, Glenn Atienza from the College of Business and Accountancy - PUP Bataan (CBA). Candidate #4, Chiara Keisha from the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators- PUP Bataan Chapter (PSITE). Candidate #5,Jana Mae Dela Cruz from the Institute of Technology Council - PUP Bataan (ITC). Lastly, Candidate #6, Russell Jade Villafuerte from the Education College Council PUP - Bataan (EDCC).
This event is part of PUP Mariveles Campus' one week Intramurals and was attended by students, faculty, sponsors, and local supporters. The much anticipated event showcased talents, wits, and poise, as candidates not only compete for the crown but also with other special and minor awards.
The opening program started at 7 p.m. Assoc. Professor Ruby Jean S. Medina, Head of Academic Programs and Focal Person of Gender and Development, gave a short message as she is one of the judges for the night's event. Following this, Ms. Dianne Naco Sanchez, president of the PUP Alumni Association, also had a short message as she served as the major judge. Moreover, the campus director, Dr. Rufo N. Bueza, had a short speech for the opening remarks.
Afterwards, loud cheers filled the court when the long-awaited event finally started as the candidates roamed the stage in their production number wearing their intramurals shirt, which proudly represented their respective councils. Following this, the first set of special awards has been awarded.
This was followed by the introduction of judges for the night's competition and awarding of a token of appreciation. Aside from the aforementioned judges, three other personalities will complete the five esteemed judges for this grand event. Sir. Christian Jones Abuan, personality development trainor and owner of Maestro Works Styling; Ms. Denver German Onggos, Queen of Mariveles 2025; and Ms. Alexis Vista Pablo, Queen of Mariveles 2023 and freelance pasarela trainor. After this, hosts read the criteria for judging. The interview segment was also presented during the event wherein candidates explained their advocacy.
Furthermore, the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) dancers had an intermission number followed by the second portion of the event, where the candidates flaunted their casual wear on the stage.
In the "Beklamation" portion, the queens showcased their skills and wits in answering tricky questions. After a period of time, the second set of special awards has been awarded. Secondly, wits and knowledge took center stage once again with the candidates battling with their sharp minds and strong voices at the debate portion of the event entitled "Di ba Teh!"
As the night progresses, elegance shines at PUP Bataan Covered Court during the long gown portion, with stunning evening gowns and confident walks lighting up the stage. Moreover, another battle of wits and intelligence has begun as the candidates showcased their skills in the initial Q&A portion. Afterwards, the third set of special awards was given.
Following this, the last portion of the event commenced as the candidates answered questions in the "Final Chukchak" portion. Subsequently, Ms. Astrid Rivera, PUP Bataan Ms. Q&A 2024, had her final walk. Before announcing the minor and major awards for the night, Mr. Francis Deplomo, President of Sentral na Konseho ng Mag-aaral, had a short speech for the closing remarks of the program.
After the long run of programs, the winners are finally announced. Candidate #2, Ms. Audrey Zuñega Indoy of the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC), won as second runner up while candidate #3 Ms. Glenn Atienza of the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), won first runner-up.
In the end, one queen prevailed among the others. Candidate #6, Ms. Russel Jade Villafuerte of the Education College Council (EDCC), was hailed as the new Ms. Q&A: Intertalaktik Kween of PUP Mariveles 2025.
